I want my lips to burn when they meet yours,

Our hearts reach beyond our chests to embrace;

Our lips pressed together forevermore.

Break for breath - inhale the world, shore to shore

so that I can kiss your lips for always;

I want my lips to burn when they meet yours.

Burn like lions singing or a bird's roar;

Deafening, finally, all time and space,

Our lips pressed together forevermore.

They feel like a love I yearn to explore;

Turning over the coals of your furnace,

I want my lips to burn when they meet yours.

I want my soul to glow red hot like iron ore,

Smitten with brimstone and ash interlaced;

Our lips pressed together forevermore

Nyx, oh Erebus, I yearn for your force,

To coddle and cradle in eternal grace;

I want my lips to burn when they meet yours

Our lips pressed together forevermore.
