Thomas reached into his jacket, pulling out four short knives, keeping them unseen until the time was right.
"Aren't you gonna scream, run or do anything to embarrass yourself before you die?" The creature before him asked.
Thomas remained still, not moving a single muscle until the time was right.
"Have it your way then," it said as it launched itself towards Thomas.
'Bingo!' Thomas exclaimed on the inside once it reached close enough for him to execute his plan, but for some reason, he was unable to move.
He gathered all the will power he had, just to move his fingers in order to position the knife the way he wanted it, still keeping it out of sight from the monster before him.
Unable to move any further, he began to panic, 'What the hell is going on!?' he asked himself as the creature got closer.
It coiled it's snake tail around him, stopping at his neck as it slowly lift him off the ground, drawing him into it's mouth.
Before he was at the entrance of the monster's mouth, a white light filled the room, temporarily blinding everything that dared to look at it.
Thomas was released from it's grasp as he squirmed away, rubbing his eyes.
Argan thumped Thomas' forehead, healing him from the temporary blindness before reaching out a hand to help him up.
Thomas hesitated, then decided to take his hand, "Why'd you help me?" Thomas asked once he was off the ground.
"I don't know, maybe it's because you're the only human to ever call me, a demigod who could kill you without breaking a sweat, an old man. That takes a lot of bravery to do, and I respect that bravery," Argan replied.
"Yeah, bravery, let's call it that," Thomas chuckled, "Now how do I kill that thing," he said, pointing to the creature before them, "And why couldn't I move?"
"You couldn't move because it paralyzes anything that they can see the pupil of. And honestly... I have no idea on how to kill it either," Argan said.
Looking back at it, Thomas asked, "So if it can't see, It can't paralyze you right?"
"That's correct," Argan responded.
"Okay, that's all I need to know," Thomas said as he ran up to the creature, knives ready.
It had only just recovered from it's blindness, before it saw Thomas coming for it.
It looked him in the eye as one of the sister's faces held a smirk but purple did it know that his plan was already in motion.
Before Thomas was completely paralyzed, his knives were already there, hurling towards it's eyes.
Realizing what he was doing, the creature slowly turned, but it was still struck in two of it's four eyes, releasing Thomas from his paralysis.
As soon as he was freed, he drew his sword and pushed himself in the air as he climbed the creature.
Before it was able to realize, he jammed the sword in the main sister's head, leaving the frog- like side of it's body unable to function.
The snake like part of the body moved to attack Thomas while his back was turned, but Argan grabbed his sister's neck and breathed his poison into her nose, making her dizzy.
He nodded to Thomas for him to finish the job, and so he did, by separating her head from her body.
"Good boy, now let's grab that bloody gem and get out of here," Argan said.
