Finding out you are the human mate of both Jane and Alec
You approached the doors of the throne room, a shiver shooting down your spine. Here goes nothing Y/N. You did want to be a part of this after all. Just don't mess up and then they won't eat you.
The doors opened and you entered, keeping your head down so you didn't seem too confident. The number one rule of being a human in the Volturi castle was not to piss off the vampires who dwelled there.
You stopped in the center of the room. "What is it child?" One of the kings inquired. You lifted your head and heard two small gasps.
On either side of Aro stood the twins that you had heard so much about. They were the favorites, as well as the most terrifying. The sweet looking girl could cause pain with just a thought while the boy was able to strip you of your senses. Secretaries before you had been unfortunate enough to be on the receiving end of these powers. You hoped you didn't join them.
They both stared at you and then at each other, a thought passing between them. Oh no they're going to eat me. How did I fuck up already? You watched Marcus reach over to Aro, a strange look on the relationship reader's face.
Aro took his hand, not saying a word. The silence in the room ate at you. Are they going to kill me? Why is everyone staring at me like that? The twins never took their eyes off of you, the crimson irises making your skin crawl.
"This is unheard of." Aro looked at you with a strange fascination, almost like a scientist that made a new discovery. "What is your name again my dear?" You shifted nervously, not knowing how to respond. You didn't want to come off as rude, so the nervousness made you over analyze every possible reply to the king's question. I'm not cut out for this job. I can't even answer without wanting to cry.
"He asked you a question!" The blond king, Caius, shouted. You flinched and clenched your eyes shut, hearing two hisses coming from somewhere in the room. "I'm Y/N L/N. Today is my first day." You rushed out quickly.
You slowly looked up at the kings, wondering if you were in trouble or not. It was said that Caius was one of the harshest of the three kings. If you got on his bad side, not that you were sure he had a good side, it meant immediate death.
The three of them stared at you in disbelief. It was then that you noticed the twins had abandoned their positions at Aro's left and right side. They vanished before you. "Aro, don't tell me this means what I think it means." Caius spat with a glare in your direction.
"It does brother." Aro confirmed with a wide grin. "Y/N, you did join us as a secretary to eventually become an immortal, correct?" You nodded and swallowed. "Yes sir." You added after you caught Caius' glare.
Aro clapped his hands together, a wicked glee in his eye. "Perfect! It would have been a shame if we changed you had that not been your intent. You see Y/N, you have become a very important piece of the Volturi coven." You scrunched your eyebrows together in confusion.
"Forgive me, master. But I don't seem to be understanding what you mean. I'm not anything special, I'm just a secretary." You tried to reason. Yes you were flattered, but you couldn't understand what had happened in the past two minutes that had all of a sudden made you so special.
Caius scoffed. "The human knows its place at least." Two hisses sounded from behind you, scaring you much worse than Caius had done. You jumped up in surprise and turned to see Jane and Alec standing side by side. They had been behind you the whole time. They could have killed you.
But why didn't they?
"Y/N, I believe you've heard of Jane and Alec." Aro spoke with that familiar glee in his voice. You looked back at him cautiously before looking to Jane and Alec once more. "Indeed I have." You didn't say anything more than that. The last thing you wanted to do was get in trouble by saying 'yeah, I heard about how you guys are the favorites because you kill people using your creepy powers.'
"Well, I hope you have an open mind because the reason you are to be a member of the Volturi is because you are their mate." You spun to face the king with wide eyes. "C-come again?" You choked out in disbelief. You didn't know much about vampires. Hell, you basically only knew that they drank blood and sparkled instead of combusting in the sun. But you were sure that they did not do polyamorous relationships. Especially between siblings.
"You are ours." You heard from behind you. You turned to see the twins staring at you with seemingly blank faces. Truth be told they did not expect to find their mates, nor did either of them expect to share said mate. They were curious as to what you, a human, could bring to their lives. They didn't trust easily, nor did they care for many. So they weren't too sure on what to make on the recent development.
You swallowed and looked between the two of them, the situation catching up with your head. "I... look forward to getting to know you." You managed out. It wasn't like you could say 'hey, I'd rather not be mated. Thanks.' Not to them.
"I give them three days." Caius muttered under his breath.
