Emmett made it safely back to the house a couple of hours later, not wanting to use his speed and risk the baby getting hurt he decided to just walk back with them in his arms. While walking back Emmett told the baby stories about his family and himself, like how he had a mate named Rosalie and how she really wanted a 'miracle baby' and how they could possibly be him a nd Rosalie 'miracle baby'.
The baby eyes had fluttered close after a while, exhausted from listening to Emmett's voice drone on about his life and from the cold air that chilled their face, but they didn't seem to mind that at all.
Seeing the house up ahead Emmett moved his gold even downwards and thought about using his speed, he didn't want the baby out in the cold anymore then it had already been so he used his speed for a quick second.
Stopping at the door, Emmett eyes met with the baby's face. Luckily they were still resting and hadn't been awoken by the sudden picked up speed from him, carefully shifting the child into one arm he used his other to open up the door before stepping inside of the warm house closing the door behind him.
"Emmett is that you?" Esme called out from the kitchen, Emmett walked up the stairs carefully before making his way into the kitchen with a smile on his face still holding the child close to him. "Yeah it's me." Esme turnt around facing her adopted son before her eyes landed on the child, her golden eyes widened as she turned off the stove and wiped her hands onto her apron. A shocked expression was planted on her face, "Is this a baby Emmett?" She asked looking up into his face awaiting his response.
"Mhmm-" Emmett hummed in reply making his way over to the couch before sitting down, Esme sitting beside him now got a good look at the child now, their face was a pale (s/c) color and they had a bit of (h/c) hair strains on their head, it wasn't much but it was enough so that they weren't completely bald. Esme traces her finger across the child's round cheeks and the baby stifts a bit in Emmetts arms before settling down once again, "She's beautiful."
Emmett looked up confused for a moment before coming to his senses, Esme meant that you were a girl. A smile stretched across his pale pink lips, "She is beautiful."
After the little exchange Esme and Emmett had with the new born Esme decided to call her family into the living room, it took Calirsle Course a while since he was called into work soon after Emmett left, but now that he was off he was making his way back home.
"What's the meaning of this?" Rosalie asked annoyed but curious, she could see Emmett sitting out on the balcony staring down at the ground. She wondered why her mate was out there, soon the front door was heard opening and closing Calirsle came up the front entrance steps a moments just after he had gotten in, placing a gentle kiss Esme lips he looked around towards his family. "What's going on here?" His eyebrow raised as he placed his back down on the couch.
"Well, we have a new family member." Esme smiled awaiting her family's reaction but got up. Rosalie growled and stepped forward, "What do you mean we have a new family member?" She practly growled at Esme, her golden eyes shone with anger.
A child like giggle filled the room, all of the Cullen turnt their heads towards the balcony. Emmett stood in near the open balcony door a child in his hands, the hospital gown that once covered her was gone and was replaced by one of Renesmee old pink blankets that had hearts on them and she wore a pink and white onesie.
Rosalie anger instantly left her eyes once she saw her husband with the small child in her arms, taking steady but fast steps to him she got a closer look at the child, the baby red eye's wandered over to Rosalie, her eye's widen at the new face.
Making grabby hands towards the new person the child blabbed on, "Want to hold her?", Emmett questions. Smiling and nodding Emmett handed the baby to his wife who gladly accept the child with welcoming arms. "Well aren't you just precious."
