The Reunion

College is finally over, after 5 years of hard work it all finally paid off, and I am taking over a new lab thanks to my internship. I plan to use it for better things than the Hawkins Lab, not testing humans. I went to University of Pennsylvania and studied all different types of science. Chemistry, Biology, Physics, the list goes on and on. But I guess all my hard work paid off, because I set myself up to make quite a bit of money, to help make starting a life and a family a whole lot easier.

As for the whole group, we all got very high GPA's, putting all of us in incredible schools. Max went to Columbia to study Law, she has always been really good at defending her case, and she thought law would be the perfect thing for her.

The other three boys attended Cornell and plan to help me with the lab. I can't wait to work with my best friends to make it a well known organization.

As for El, although she only had 2 years of proper education, she had the highest GPA out of all of us, a 4.6! She went on to study at Harvard, and I couldn't be more proud. After all she has been through, she was able to push through and get into one of the best schools in the US. Wow, that's my girlfriend.

I was driving home to see my family for the first time since Christmas and I couldn't be more excited. I pulled into the driveway and got out of my car.

I pulled my suitcase out of the trunk and rolled it up to my front door. Before I could knock, Nancy excitedly swung it open. She was holding her 1 year old son, Jack, and pulling me inside.

"MIKE!" she screamed putting her son in his high chair to hug me.

Suddenly my mom came around the corner and engulfed me in a massive hug. "I am so happy you're home!" she said.

When she moved out of the way, a now 14 year old Holly was waiting for her hug. I picked her up off the ground and spun around making her laugh.

"Did you see Jack? Look how big he got!" She said gesturing to Jack in his high chair.

Nancy picked him up and handed him to me, he was adorable. I still can't believe Nancy is a mom!

"Is Jonathan coming to the party tonight, to see Will?" I asked and she nodded.

I looked at Jack then at Nancy. "You know, now that Jack has gotten older, he has started to resemble Jonathan." I said shocked. I would've thought he was going to resemble Nancy.

I returned the baby to her and grabbed my suitcase. I couldn't wait to see everyone, especially El. We had met up a few times, but not since October and it just wasn't the same. I missed her, and I mean, I really missed her. But sadly, she was going to be the last one to get here, since her flight was leaving later than everybody elses.

About an hour later, the boys all busted through the front door and shouted my name in unison. We all joined in a massive group hug and began to discuss what had happened while we hadn't seen eachother.

My mind was still preoccupied by Eleven coming tonight, I really couldn't think about anything else, and I was relieved when she became the topic of conversation.

"So El isn't coming until later?" Will asked and I shook my head in reply.

"I bet Mike is really excited to see her!" Lucas said raising his eyesbrows making Dustin laugh.

"Wow really mature!" I replied making him chuckle.

A few minutes later Max arrived and immediately ran to Lucas. He picked her up in a hug and kissed her cheek. They exchanged a few words before rejoining the group conversation.
