•Eleven POV•
We entered the first house, the realator giving us a funny look."Seems kind of big for a first house!" She commented, noticing our young age.
We both looked at eachother kind of laughing.
"Well, we have the money I guess and we wont be moving from here for quite some time." Mike said as I nodded in agreement with him.
We were at 52 Maple Street. The house was beautiful, very big too. The house had hardwood floors all throughout the main living space, beautiful countertops in the massive kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and an adorable little backyard. (just go to okbaby on youtube and look at their house, imagine that just like more 90's i guess)
I pulled Mike's arm grabbing his attention.
"I love it." I said with no doubt that this is where I wanted to live.
"I mean, it's perfect. We are close to Mirkwood, we are near your parents house, it all works out." I said silently, hoping the realator wasn't eavesdropping on our conversation.
"Not to mention, close to work." He said agreeing with me.
"Wanna look at one more house?" He asked me and I nodded.
We told the realator we might come back and headed to the house on Mirkwood. It was at a quiet area on the road, not close to the woods, and just before the turn onto Maple Street.
We pulled into the driveway, immediately drawing my attention to it. Wow, it was beautiful. It was a blue-ish green color with stone detailing. The landscape was beautiful and there was a cute path leading to the front door. I couldn't wait to get inside.
As soon as I walked in I felt such an "at home" vibe. It was truly amazing. The kitchen was beautiful, the living room was super big, 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, and a finished basement.
"Scratch the last house, this is it!" I whispered to Mike as he nodded vigorously in return, excited about the house.
We finished the tour and I nodded to Mike.
"When can we move in?" Mike asked the realator making her grin.
"You are the first to want to move in! Just fill out these papers and you will be moving in within the next 3 weeks, the sellers are really anxious to get out, they are moving to California!" She said with excitement, showing us the papers we needed to fill out.
After about 20 minutes of filling out 40 pages of paper, we both signed our names at the bottom and grinned at eachother.
We waved goodbye to the realator and hopped in the car. Wow, it was all happening so fast, before I know it we will be married. I sighed and looked at Mike who was smiling so hard his face was going to fall off.
"You're so cute." I said giggling before grabbing his hand.
We drove back to Mike's apartment and settled I settled in as Mike started to make lunch. Suddenly, there was a loud knock at the door. I looked at Mike who just shrugged as I walked over to open the door.
I opened it to find Max, her eyes red and puffy and her cheeks stained with tears. I pulled her inside and hugged her tight, trying to calm her ad best I could.
"What's wrong?" I asked her calmly as she sniffled, wiping her eyes.
"Lucas and I are fighting." She said trying not to cry.
"I don't even know what happened we just haven't been seeing eye to eye." She explained sniffling again.
"Have you tried working things out, or talking?" I asked her trying not to be rude, but Max can get a bit temperamental. She just yells and doesn't talk it out.
She shrugged and looked around the room, kind of scanning over each thing on the shelves. I could see Mike looking over out of the corner of my eye, giving me a anxious look. I raised my eyebrows at him as to say give me a minute and he turned back to the counter.
"I just, I feel like he doesn't feel the same way he used to about me. And to be honest I think I dated the wrong guy." she said, guiltily looking at the ground, shuffling her feet around on the carpet in front of her.
"Well, Lucas told me he hasn't felt the same about me, and then I yelled back and told him that I shouldn't have dated him." She finished looking at me before sighing and tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
"What do you mean by that?" I asked her.
"What?"
"What do you mean by you dated the wrong guy." I struggled to get out the words, afraid for the answer to attack me.
"I think I like Dustin." She said followed by a loud coughing from Mike, forcing him to run to the bedroom.
"Max, you need to sort out how Lucas feels before you even think about leaving him for Dustin, who is one of Lucas' best friends!" I said, the thought of her absurd plan to leave Lucas for Dustin still in my mind.
"I know, I have felt this for a very long time, too long." She said wiping a new tear. There was an awkward pause, as I sat there hoping Mike would emerge from the bedroom.
"Well, I should go." She said picking up her purse and heading for the door. I hugged her and smiled sympathetically.
"Call me." I said and she nodded, shutting the door.
Mike emerged from the other room and came over to me with large eyes. I gulped as he approached me.
"Dustin likes Max" He said plainly, with a hint of worry coating his voice.
I felt my eyes widen before unintentionally hitting Mikes arm lightly.
"This is a disaster."
Yes, Mike and El are moving onto Mirkwood. Here is the house.
Drama.
