•Max POV•
I hadn't seen Lucas in a few days, I don't know how to feel anymore. We don't like eachother, not in that way anymore, yet we stayed together? I need to talk to him, I need to tell him the truth.

I knocked on his front door, the sun beating down on my back as I waited for him to open the door. I looked down at the Welcome matt placed before the door as I moved my feet around on it. I was about to knock again when the door swung open.

"Hey," he said with a light smile, something clearly on his mind.

"Can we talk?" He said and I nodded, him moving to the side to allow me inside. I observed the house I had become familiar with, seeing everything was still in place. I turned back to him, he was standing awkwardly with his hands in his pockets.

"Max, I uh don't know how to say this, but can we just be frien-"

"I was going to ask the same thing," I said making him sigh of relief.

"Also I need to tell you something." I said making him freeze.

"We are friends now, right?" I said, allowing him to nod in response.

"Well, I kind of like somebody else." I said and he didn't really react, which was a happy surprise.

"And it's one of your friends" I said and he nodded as if he had known for weeks.

"So you don't care, right?" I said and he grinned, laughing lightly.

"No, of course not, I've known you liked Dustin, and I'm okay with it because we are friends now. ok?" He said before putting his hands on my shoulders.

I pulled him into a tight hug and smiled widely.

"Thank you."

•Eleven POV•
Dustin was over at my apartment with Mike and I, helping us pack up my things for the move. We began to move the couch and a cloud of dust formed in the air, making us all cough loudly.

"El when was the last time you cleaned, I thought you were a clean freak." Mike said laughing as I rolled my eyes.

"I do clean, I just forgot about behind the couch." I said crossing my arms sassily.

We continued to move it out from the wall for the movers who would be coming any minute. I taped the last box and went through all the rooms to make sure nothing was left.

I returned to the main living area and gave the boys two thumbs up, and they cheered making me giggle. Just as we had finished dusting where the couch had been, there was a knock on the door. Perfect, the movers were here.

Before I could even get to the door, Max barged in and sped towards Dustin, before grabbing his face and smashing her lips against his. His whole body was in shock, good thing he liked her. I looked over at Mike who looked at me with wide eyes, almost beginning to laugh before stopping himself.

Max pulled away and revealed Dustins face, which was now as read as a tomato. Max had nothing to say, neither did Dustin, so an awkward silence filled the room. Mike inhaled and looked at me, raising his eyebrows and holding back a laugh.

"Oh come on you two, you both like eachother." I urged, getting two shrugs from them in response.

Some more silence followed before I nudged Mike, insinuating that it was his turn to talk. I saw him nod out of the corner of my eye before awkwardly beginning his sentence.

"Well, we have to move so you kids go see a movie of something." He said making the rest of us laugh.

They grabbed hands and walked out of my apartment, Mike and I remaining.

•Dustin POV•
I am very confused. Aren't Lucas and Max dating? She likes me?! Wait, is she cheating on him?!? All the scenarios began to play out in my head as we got into my car together.

"I know you are confused, but Lucas and I are just friends now. And I told him how I felt about you." She said softly, make me blush profusely.

"ok."

•Mike POV•
The movers arrived and all of the stuff that had been in El's apartment started being moved slowly to the moving van. We exited the building and begun to head back to my place and pack up there.

I smiled and looked over at her, but for some reason she had a concerned look planted on her face, and she was also shivering, in July.

"you okay?" I asked nervously. She snapped out of it and looked up at me, playing with the engagment ring.

"oh uh- yea, I've just been feeling kind of off lately." She replied, her eyes drifting down to her hands.

I looked at her accusingly and shook my head slightly but vigorously.

"No no, tell me what's up." I urged making her sigh deeply, her shoulders dropping.

"Mike... my visions are back. They only give me a little bit of information and I get really cold when they get closer." she said, explaining what happened to her in our junior year.

"Is it anything bad? The visions?" I asked, curiosity evident in my voice.

"I- I don't know. But I am getting nervous." She said fiddling with the ring once again.

I pulled up to the stop sign and squeezed my eyes shut, trying to collect my thoughts. She put her hand on my knee and looked at me with concern.

"Mike-"

"I'm just worried, El. I mean, I love you I can't let anything bad happen to you." I said, tears threatening my eyes.

"Nothing is going to happen, I promise." She said tenderly, looking at me with a smile. My eyes drifted down to her lips before connecting them with mine.

"Nothing bad will happen, ok?" She said, resting her forehead against mine.

"Ok."

•Eleven POV•
We returned to Mike's apartment and immediately begun to pack his things, we were hoping to be in our new house as soon as possible. I am not really sure how moving into a house works but this is going very quickly.

By Wednesday all of our old things had been packed up and we were ready to move in. But we did want new furniture for our new house, so we drove over to a furniture store in Thursday.

I think we bought a whole house of furniture. We bought a lot of things, and I mean a lot. I was more than ready to move, and Mike was too. The realator said the earliest we could move in was Saturday.

We were sitting together in Mike's apartment, just enjoying eachothers company. I suddenly groaned and sat up, looking at him.

"what is it?" he asked curiously making me grin lightly.

"I just want to move now!" I said making him laugh.

I leaned up against him and he looked down at me.

"Just two more days." he whispered.

Soon enough, I felt myself begin to drift off to sleep.

This was terrible and I am so sorry. A lot is going to be happening in this book. And you are all going to be confused. but i can tell you this. Poor El.
