•Third Person•
The group entered the room, their eyes landing on Mike and Max who were sat on two rigid chairs across from the hospital bed, where El was currently asleep. The three of them smiled at the sight of their finally peaceful looking friend. After all the shit she had gone through, she definitely deserved a break.

What confused them was why was Mike crying? Max gave them a small wave before noticing that Nancy and Jonathan were following close behind the three boys, looking a bit bewildered. Max stood, going over to the group and hugging all of them one by one before turning her head over her left shoulder to see Mike with his head in his hands, his elbows resting on his knees.

Max huffed before turning back to the group and giving Lucas a kiss on the cheek. He smiled at her before looking behind her around the hospital room, his smile contorting into a look of confusion. The rest of the group at the door followed his action as Max ushered them into the room, quietly closing the door behind them. Dustin went over to the hospital bed to sit next to El, followed by Will, who instinctively grabbed El's injured hand. Nancy pushed through Lucas and Jonathan and slowly strided towards Mike, putting a hand on his shoulder and taking a seat next to him. He glanced up briefly but stopped himself when he saw that his sister was now next to him. Nancy's pained expression for her brother intensified when he fell into her arms, a sobbing mess. Neither of them said anything, nothing needed to be said even though Nancy had no idea why he was crying.

Lucas gestured to the chair and looked to Max, grabbing her arm gently and tugging her towards it. She shook her head and backed away from the chair, mentally offering him the seat. Instead, he pulled her into his arms, burrying his face into her fiery red hair. She returned the warm gesture, letting her tesrs soak into his shoulder. She pulled away at the sound of rustling coming from El's bed.

El flinched at the fluorescent lighting as she slowly opened her eyes, looking around the room as a light but still tired smile formed on her face.

Mike pulled out of Nancy's embrace, wiping his face before rushing over to his wife who was remembering what had happened under an hour ago. She put her hands up to him and he pulled her into his arms tightly, her own arms locking around him in a death grip, as if he would disappear the second she let go. She let out a sob, shutting her eyes tightly and pulling him in closer.

"Mike..." She began, everybody shocked to finally hear somebody speak in the room.

"I'm sorry." She finished shamefully, burrowing her face into his sweater. He pulled her closer at the words, both of them wanting to be as close to eachother as physically possible.

"Don't be." He whispered to her, letting a few tears run down his face.

The rest of the group watched the two in awe at how perfect their relationship was. It always had been perfect, besides the time when they got kidnapped by Landler.

Everybody stopped at the sound of the door opening behind them, the nurse entering and pausing to look around at all the new people in shock. She smiled a bit, almost laughing at the huge amount of people in the room. Her smile remained on her face as she moved to Mike and El.

"Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler?"
