The Lab

•Lucas POV•
I watched Max read the card before her face turned a deathly pale, all color draining from her usually rosy cheeks. She looked up at us, her hands shaking, before inhaling and handing me the card.

"I think someone might have been here... Polly." She said as I read the card.

Oh my God. Polly Landler. Polly is Landler's daughter.

"What was Polly doing here?" Dustin asked innocently, Will's eyes practically rolling back into his head as I handed the card over to him.

I felt terrible, he finally started dating someone only to find out that they are the daughter to a psychotic scientist. He read the card, before shaking his head vigorously and dropping it to the floor.

"No, no that can't be true. Can it? What do we do?" He asked, in denial of his girlfriend being responsible of his best friends whereabouts.

"We need to go find them, and I think I might know where they are." Will said, looking back and forth between all of us.

"Where?" Max asked, still shaking as she walked over to me, grabbing my arm.

"The lab."

•Mike POV•
I felt myself regain consciousness, all feeling slowly re-entering my body. My hands were tied behind me, and my feet were tightly bound to the legs of the metal chair I had been forced into moments before being drugged. I looked around, no sign of El, Polly, or Landler. What had they done with her, where were they?

Every worst possible scenario ran through my head as I leaned back in the chair, sighing as I closed my eyes tightly, tears streaming down my face.

Where was El?

•Will POV•
We all got back in the car, before quickly driving away in the direction of the lab. Frankly, I was terrified. Not only to be there but for my friends, the two friends I had spent 3 years with in the lab.

"How do we get in?" Max asked from the passenger seat.

"How do we know this really is Polly's wrong doing?" Dustin asked, still in denial that this had anything to do with Polly.

"Who else in Hawkins has the name Polly?" Max asked, rolling her eyes.

There was a long uncomfortable silence as we continued down the road, the only sound being heard was our light breathing.

"We need to figure out a way in." Max said quietly.

I searched my brain, for some way in. There had to be a way. Where did El get in? I closed my eyes, sighing heavily as I trained all my focus on one thing. Locating her.

"Will is gonna find a way in, trust me he can do it!" Lucas said encouragingly, making me feel a bit better. But also the fact that finding them was on me was terrifying.

"I hope they are-"

"AHHH HOLY SHIT" I cut Dustin off, hurling over as I felt an immense pain overcome me, sweat beads forming on my forehead.

"Will! What's wrong?!" Lucas asked, as I felt the car pull over and stop abruptly.

I said nothing. My eyes were glued shut as I tried to overcome whatever this pain was. Every part of my body felt useless, the pain growing. It felt as if
someone was ripping my insides, like someone was shoving my organs out of place. I felt it fade, my breathing returning to normal, as I sat up in my seat. Whatever that pain was, it wasn't my pain.

"Something is wrong with El."
