Logan: The first two messages sent from my phone were from Virgil, obviously. The third message sent from my phone was also from Virgil, who I'm sure wanted to "mess around" or confuse us. The third message sent from Roman's phone was also from Roman. I am assuming that he must've seen what Virgil was trying to do and played along.
