Roman was nervous. How was he going to plan a perfect date in a few hours? He even had Logan help him make a checklist on things that are needed for the perfect date.

He knows that Virgil doesn't really like public spaces, or crowded places, and he knows that Virgil doesn't like to be the center of attention. He knows that Virgil prefers simplicity but still appreciates grand gestures. He knows that Virgil loves Patton's cookies, and basically everything sweet. He knows Virgil's favourite place, favourite drinks, favourite scents, favourite songs, but he just can't come up with a good date plan.

"How about a simple movie night? He loves those!" suggested Patton, who was waiting for the cookies to finish baking.

"No, too cliche." says Roman as he stands up from his seat and paces around the kitchen, in hopes of formulating a great date plan.

"How about a picnic?" asks Logan, who is also in the kitchen.

"I don't know, I want to think of something that would be memorable."

"You know we can't come up with something original, right?" says Thomas, who randomly pops up in the kitchen.

"I know! Virgil loves art! And museums!" Patton says excitedly.

"No, museums are more likely to be closed by 7."

Thomas suddenly gets an idea and shushes the three sides by flailing his arms and yelling at them.

"Take Virgil to your favourite place!"

The three stared at him.

"Then I guess we have the location. But if we are going to formulate the 'perfect' date, shouldn't you know what exactly you two would be doing?" Logan asks, facing the fanciful trait.

"You're right! But Logan, how would we come up with activities if we don't even know what Roman's favourite place is?" Thomas asks the logical one.

"Don't be surprised, but it's actually a treehouse. It's really pretty there, I think you guys would love it there as well!" Roman tells the others.

"I think I've got it!" Patton begins. "He loves simple things, and stargazing, and board games, and music, and painting, so there!"

Roman squeals. It was pretty obvious that he loved the idea. He ran to Patton and hugged the father figure.

"Do you want us to help you set up or something?" Thomas asks Roman.

"That would be great!" Roman says, gesturing the other three to follow him.

Logan is a bit hesitant, and decides he should stay so Virgil won't be alone. Patton and Thomas follow Roman to his room, and he leads them to a door.

He types in the code for that certain room, and then opens the door.

Inside was a beautiful field, with a treehouse standing out in the middle. There was a river nearby as well, and a playground near it. The treehouse wasn't as big as a mansion, but it wasn't too small either. It was still beautiful, though.

Thomas was the first to run towards it, then Patton. Once all three of them were there, they began to prepare the place.

"You should put a telescope under the treehouse, then add fairy lights inside the treehouse, then make a blanket fort 'cause Virgil likes 'aesthetic things', and don't forget the music!" Patton says as he points to where certain things should go.

Roman made all of those appear and placed them where Patton told him to. Thomas made a playlist for Roman, too.

They finished in about 45 minutes, and still had a few hours to spare. It was 5 pm, so they all went back to Roman's room because he still had to choose an outfit.

Thomas quickly chose an outfit from Roman's wardrobe, since he had planned what he wanted Roman to wear ever since he found out Roman would be going on a date with Virgil.

He gave Roman a white sweatshirt and blue skinny jeans, and Roman looked at him as if he were crazy.

"That's what you're going to wear and I don't take no for an answer."

-----

It was finally 7 pm, and Logan was trying to calm Virgil down.

"What if I mess things up? What if everything goes wrong? What if-"

"Virgil, nothing will go wrong. You're going to have fun on your date, and you will be just fine."

Virgil trusted Logan's words and slowed down his breathing to a normal pace.

"Are you sure?"

"Of course I am. Now get ready, Roman will be here soon."

"If something goes wrong, I blame you."

The two then heard knocking at the door, and both of them knew it was Roman.

"I'll see you after your date. Have fun."

Virgil opened the door and was greeted by Roman hugging him.

"You look adorable, now let's go!" Roman says as he takes Virgil by the hand and drags him to his room.

The two then enter through the door that leads to the treehouse.

Virgil was awestruck. He quickly dragged Roman to the treehouse and climbed up the ladder.

"You seem to have a lot of energy today." Roman says with a smile.

"Oh my gosh, is that Twenty One Pilots?"

Roman smiled at Virgil who was now rapping along to Heavydirtysoul.

Virgil sat down near the speakers, but then saw cookies inside the blanket fort and ran to it. Roman followed Virgil and was just enjoying seeing Virgil so happy.

"You want to play some board games?"

Virgil nodded eagerly as Roman brought out his favourite board games.

They ended up playing for 2 hours whilst talking about random things with Virgil's favourite songs in the background and eating chips & sweets.

"You want to go stargazing?"

"Wait, really?"

Roman lead Virgil to the telescope which was beneath the treehouse.

Everything went perfectly. They had dinner underneath the stars, they had a great time talking to each other, they learned a lot about each other, they also went to the playground, they sang songs together, and it was just amazing.

It wasn't long before they had to go back. Roman promised Virgil they would go on more dates, though.

When they got back to Roman's room, they saw Logan, Patton, and Thomas sitting on the bed and was facing them with a smile.

"So, how did it go?" Patton asked the two in a teasing manner.
