Patton woke up sobbing.

Logan immediately ran to see what was wrong. He was in the kitchen, making breakfast for everyone, but this was more important. The toasts could go burn in hell.

"Patton, you seem to be upset. What is the matter?"

"It's just a nightmare. That's all."

Logan gave him a confused look. Patton spoke in a way that broke his heart. How can he say that "It's just a nightmare" when this caused him to cry? Logan came to the conclusion that Patton didn't want him to worry because he is not okay.

"No, it's not. Please, let me help you."

Patton hesitated to speak.

"It's silly, you'll think that I'm just being childish."

Logan sat next to Patton, and gestured for him to talk. He was going to try to help Patton out, even though emotions are still a bit perplexed to him.

"You remember them, right?"

He nodded, allowing Patton to continue.

"In my dream– no, not a dream. A nightmare. In my nightmare, there were three people. I don't recognize them, so I asked them who they were. I don't really remember most of it, but there was this one part where one of the three told me 'We will get rid of him and you can't do anything'. Then there was a bunch of scary stuff and it just makes me feel scared."

Patton let out a few more tears slip, and Logan hugged Patton. He knew that that kind of physical contact will help calm Patton down. He knew he had to look into this, but right now, his focus was to take care of Patton. Nothing else.

They were like that for a minute or more until they heard a scream coming from the kitchen.

"Who burned these perfectly edible toasts?!"

Logan chuckled, knowing that it was his fault.

Virgil came running down the stairs upon hearing the words "burned" and "toasts", and rushed towards the kitchen to see what was going on. He stopped when he saw Patton and Logan being extremely close to each other and just stood there.

That wasn't normal. Was anything normal at all, nowadays? Nope.

Maybe Logan has accepted the fact that he has feelings and can't do anything about it? Probably.

Virgil was just glad that they were all happy, and not full of worry. Unlike before. They literally stole his job, and he didn't like that. He also cared for their well-being, but his job is his job and it belongs to him and no one else.

Virgil rushed to the kitchen and dragged Roman to the living room without saying a word. He made sure they weren't in sight, because reasons.

"That's super cute!" Roman squealed, causing the other two to direct their attention to the creative one.

Roman liked the idea of Logan and Patton being together. What's the term for it? Oh right, ship. Roman shipped them, and since he is the romantic one, he just had to tell Virgil all of his ideas.

No, it wasn't just because he wanted to spend more time with Virgil. Psh, what are you saying?

It's weird to think that Roman is the romantic one, the expert on all things romance, yet he is foreign to the feeling of romantic love. Sure, he's experienced feeling infatuation, but you see, there is a huge difference between infatuation and love.

He's helped Thomas before with his past lovers, but he himself had never had one. Roman would never admit this though, because why would a prince like him never experience getting in a romantic relationship?

The answer is simple. Dating others would feel wrong if he wasn't really that into them, which is why he would always decline the offer.

He wanted to look for that one person who would make him feel things he's never felt before, and he found that person. That person is Virgil.

And he was determined to make Virgil his lover.
