"So, Princey, what did you want to talk about?" Virgil asks the fanciful trait as he stood in the doorway.

"Close the door and lock it. This must not be heard."

Virgil rolled his eyes, but did as told. He thought Roman was just being overdramatic or something.

"Sounds serious, spill."

"Just so you know, this is extremely important and I think you should know, but don't tell anyone that I told you."

Virgil began to feel nervous. He scanned the room just to see if something felt off. Nothing. It was clear. Even though the room didn't feel off, he still wanted to take precaution and took out a small black box.

"What's that?"

The anxious trait gave no response, and opened the box.

"It's a gift from Thomas. He gave it a few years back, so we could have conversations in secret. He knew I would always worry about the possibility of people hearing what we talk about. I like to talk to him about all of my problems, worries, fears, and secrets just 'cause he can keep them better than Patton."

"So, why did you bring it out?"

"Didn't you say you were going to tell me something important? Something others shouldn't know you told me?"

"But what does it do?"

"Well, I don't have the energy to explain, but in short, we're invisible and no one can hear us. We're not in your room, we're not in the mindscape, and no one else has access to this place. I still don't know where Thomas got this thing. Now tell me."

Roman stared at the box, which was currently on the palm of Virgil's hand. He was slightly shocked considering the fact that he had never seen anything like it.

"Oh right, where do I start? Okay so, you know how Patton, Logan, and I have been talking a lot recently?"

Virgil nodded with a confused look, and gestured to Roman to continue.

"About that..."

Roman sighed. He didn't know if this was the right thing to do. He was beginning to panic, and panicking is not his thing.

"Roman? Are you okay? You look a little... panicky."

"Ugh, that's your job. I can't do that, we're not at a disco!"

Virgil's eyes lit up at that sentence. Roman smiled, knowing that he had lightened up the situation for the emo one.

"Here's the thing," Roman began. "We... the-there's... there's some-"

"Hold on, someone's knocking on your door. We have to go back to your room."

Roman silently thanked the heavens. Virgil closed the box and they were back. They heard the sound of keys, and Roman's eyes widened.

"Pretend to be asleep!" He whispered to Virgil.

The two immediately laid down on Roman's bed. They placed a blanket over themselves, and closed their eyes. They heard the door open, and Roman instinctively held Virgil closer to him. That was when Roman noticed that Virge was out like a light. Apparently, Virgil falls asleep really fast.

He heard footsteps walk towards the bed and slowed down his breathing.

"Roman?"

He pretended to wake up and looked at whoever was shaking him.

"Yes?"

"Okay, first of all, what is Virgil doing in your bed, and second, you've got to be ready soon. You're cooking breakfast later. Third, I suggest you take Virgil back to his room."
