"All of my creation is an effort to weave a web of connection with the world; I am always weaving it because it was once broken."

-Anais Nin

Soft taps against the wooden floor can be heard on the silent library, as you walked around the shelves finding a book that might help your club to have more information about the gods.

Your club is named as the Ancient Club. Sounds weird yes, it's because the founder sucks at naming.

The club you were in specializes in information about the gods and those other beings that resides on the far shore. Few of them can see from the far shore, but that didn't stop the others who doesn't have the ability to give up on their interests.

"Gods... Gods... Gods..." you muttered to yourself as you scanned the whole shelves, finding a certain title. "Ah, here it is."

You immediately grabbed the book and examined its appearance. It looks somewhat old, and its features doesn't seem to be... shouldn't supposed to be in the humans' hands.

You can smell a god's scent from it, and to tell, quite familiar. It does smell like tea leaves, one that smells like mint. Then a certain image of the god immediately popped on your mind; One that looks like he knows a lot of things, his hair and beard is white. Wrinkles visible on his face, as a kind smile was plastered on his lips.

"Tenjin-sama," you mumbled, your eyes still examining the old book on your hands.

You shook your head in dismay, thinking that the old god was quite not that careful about his things that seems to be rather important.

Knowing him as the smartest god, you drew a possibility that he left the book here for you, not because he misplaced it.

But since the old scripture is already on your hands, why not use it now right?

Your eyes moved from left to right as you quickly read through the texts, pausing some time to register new information if you ever find one, since almost all of the information about the gods and the far shore was already known by you and your friends.

"[first name]-Aneki."

You turned your head to the sound of the voice, seeing a younger female walking towards you. It's not only her, but there is also another girl beside her who has pink-colored eyes. You can remember this girl. She's the girl with the god and his regalia not so long ago, the time you saved the college male from committing suicide.

'What a small world it is,'  you thought, then smiled at them.

They approached you as you closed the book and somehow managed to hide the book on your bag. "Hey, what's up Ellie?" you greeted.

"Nothing much. Hey, this is Hiyori. Iki, Hiyori." Ellie pointed at Hiyori with her thumb. Hiyori shyly waved at you, a faint blush is visible on her cheeks.

'What's up with the blush thingy? Did I do something to fluster her?' you thought, face-palming on your head.

"Nice meeting you, Iki-san," you greeted politely, stretching your hand towards Hiyori to shake which she accepted happily. "Y-you can just call me Hiyori. The pleasure's all mine by the way. Uhm... well. AH! This is awkward. What's your name?"

You blinked your eyes, and a slight chuckle left your lips as you found this girl amusing. "The name's [first name]. [last name], [first name]," you said and pulled your hand back. "[first name]..." Hiyori said as if testing your name.
