"It's always the small pieces that makes the big picture."

It has been a few months since all of that happened. Those questions, tangled lives, hardships still at hand. The dark-purple haired god fixed his neck tie as he looked at his reflection on the mirror in front of him. He wonders why can't he just be like a normal person who live a normal life instead of this? He doesn't want to admit it but, there is really something missing. It irritates him so much because he doesn't even know how to find it at all. He also wonders why can't just Ellie tell it to him straight. She just gives off hints that somehow just adds questions on his mind.

'What you are looking for might already be around you already but you kept pushing it away because of a temporary happiness.'

He shook his head to remove all of the thoughts, then went straight to school with his love interest. His eyes flickered at the brunette beside him who walked happily, her beautiful pink eyes stared straight ahead. He is very lucky to have her. She's all he wants. Then here he was, already having her by his side but he doesn't even have the courage to ask her. His cheeks tinted with pink as his mind wondered where Hiyori would wait for him to come home and cook for him. But somehow, there is a strange pull on his heart that he can't understand. This is ruining his day once again.

"Yato, are you okay?" Hiyori asked worriedly, waving a hand in front of him. Yato snapped out of his trance then grinned at her. "Yes of course."

They already reached the school and went to their separate ways. As soon as he entered the room, he immediately noticed '[N/N]' wasn't there and it's quite suspicious since she really does her best to complete her attendance until the school year ends. "Why am I thinking about that anyway?" He asked himself then went to sit on his chair. A few hours had passed but his seatmate wasn't still there and made him really curious now. He shrugged, "Curiosity killed the cat." He stood up without even getting noticed then went on the rooftop. With his enhanced hearing, he can hear someone talking to each other; probably having an argument.

"What do you even want, Akura ou?" A feminine voice said.

Yato automatically knew the owner of that voice but who is she even talking to? He peeked on the slightly ajar door then saw the figure of the girl with an ebony-haired male with all black clothing. Now that he remembered, Akura ou is a god of destruction who can summon phantoms to eliminate humans before. "Just wanted to visit you~! I just wanted to congratulate you since you act like a pro!" Akura ou beamed, a sly grin forming on his lips. "I've been watching you for a very long time now. PRETENDING TO BE THE GOD OF CALAMITY, [N/N]GAMI.... Tomoe, my old friend."

The dark-purple haired god's breath hitched at what he just learned at this time. So that's the reason why she acted so strange, it's because it wasn't her on the first place.

Tomoe gritted his teeth. In a matter of seconds, he transformed back to his true form in a puff of smoke. "Let's go somewhere else to settle this, Akura ou." Tomoe finally said but then was stopped as soon as a person teleported between them. Akura ou let out an amused chuckle, looking at the female straight on the eye, "Ah, Ellie-no-mitama-no-kami." [Probably someone already knew where I got this name xD]

Ellie let out a tired groan then hit both of them on the head, "Can't you two just stop your petty excuse of a quarrel." The two male hissed at each other then turned their attention at the goddess who looked at them in irritation. The goddess blew the strand of hair on her face then turned around, her eyes widening as soon as her eyes saw a familiar face just right outside the door. "Yato..." She breathe out.

Knowing he had already been seen, he sighed then opened the door to fully reveal himself. "Tell me what's really going on here." He said as he strode towards the god. Ellie kept her posture, eyeing the male god in front of her without any care. "Why would I?" She challenged. "Why do you want to know anyway? Besides, this is my cousin's life to begin with... You have no stand in here." She added then walked passed the appalled male. She stopped on her tracks then faced him once more, "Unless... you have a connection in this chain of events. Don't you agree, God of Calamity?"
