Zach's pov: The door of Brandon's room opened and Kylie walked in.
"She wants to hear you out." Kylie said looking directly at me.
I stood up quickly then left Brandon's room closing the door behind me. I stopped right before her room and stared feeling nervous. I took a deep breath and exhaled before entering her room.
"Close the door." Elizabeth said.
I closed the door and sat down next to her on her bed.
"Explain." She commanded.
"Where do you want me to start?" I asked.
"The Grove, where you met her." She said.
My heart dropped when she said that. I hadn't realized she was there that day.
"Okay well the boys and me were just shopping and I noticed Rachel." I said.
"I thought she was pretty and decided why not just go talk to her for a bit and maybe see if I could get her number." I added.
"I got her number then her and me texted for a while and decided to go out on a date that night, we went to Chipotle." I continued.
"I know." She said.
"How?" I asked.
"I was there." She said.
"I didn't see you though, I did see Jack though." I said.
Then I put two and two together.
"You were with Jack?" I asked.
She nodded her head.
"Why?" I asked.
"I was in a bad mood and he was being a good friend." She said.
"Now continue." She added.
"Well after Chipotle, I just dropped her off home and the next day was the party I didn't originally plan on taking her, but she wanted to hang out so I invited her as my date." I said.
"Who was that guy you were with by the way?" I asked.
"A friend from school." She said.
"Okay so after the party I took Rachel home, then just drove to your house because I missed you and wanted to go on another adventure." I said.
"Why didn't you just take your girlfriend?" She asked rolling her eyes.
"She's not into those things and needs her sleep." I said shrugging.
"Listen, we just should stop talking." She said.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"I can't handle talking to you." She said.
"But E-" I started.
"Please don't call me that anymore, Zach." She said.
She stood up and walked to her door not opening it yet. I walked over to her.
"I need you in my life." I said.
"Goodbye, Zach." She said closing the door.
I stood there for a few moments just staring at the closed door. I opened the door and walked back in.
"E, hear me out." I said.
"Rachel isn't my girlfriend, I never asked her to be my girlfriend." I said before she could say anything else.
"Yes, I took her on a date then to that party, but it's not like her and me are even official." I continued.
"Plus I like you... I've liked you since the second I met you." I added.
