Liz's pov: "We're here." Zach said as he pulled into a parking garage.
"So our adventure is to a parking garage?" I asked completely confused.
He laughed lightly and shook his head.
"Of course not." He said as he got out of his car.
Still confused, I got out of his car and walked towards him.
"So where exactly are we going?" I asked.
"You ask too many questions." He said chuckling.
"And you barely answer any of them." I retorted.
"We're going on this like monorail thing and it'll take us up this hill." He said.
"What exactly is on the top of this hill?" I asked.
"It really nice place, now quit asking questions because I'm not going to answer anymore." He said.
I nodded then we walked out of the parking garage and went to the line for the monorail thing.
*the top of the hill*
"Woah." I said as I stepped off the monorail.
"Right." Zach said.
I looked over at him and saw he was looking at me.
"How come you brought me here and not Rachel?" I asked.
He shrugged.
"I've actually never been here before, but I heard of it from a friend so I thought why not." He said shrugging once again.
I hummed as I slightly nodded my head.
"Come on, let's go." He said as he walked towards the stair case.
"Where exactly are we going?" I asked.
"I figured we could go to the cafeteria and get food." He replied.
"Sounds good to me since I'm starving." I said.
We walked into the cafeteria, I right away grabbed a tray and headed towards the pizza. I grabbed a slice of pepperoni pizza then went and got myself some fruits and a cupcake. Then got myself something to drink. I walked up to the register, grabbing a brownie on the way. The lady looked at my tray then back up at me with a look of disgust. I rolled my eyes. She told me my total and I looked through my purse for my wallet.
"I got it." Zach said as he set his tray down by me.
"You don't have to pay for me." I said looking over at him.
"Yes, I do." He said.
The lady told him the total of his meal along with mine and he paid for it. We both went and sat down at a table.
"Thank you for paying." I said.
"No problem." Zach said smiling.
"By the way, I saw the look the lady gave you, are you okay?" He asked frowning.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I said shrugging.
"She shouldn't judge you for getting a lot of stuff to eat." He said sighing.
"It really doesn't bother me." I said, even though that was a lie.
Of course it bothered me, but honestly I just hope she doesn't give everyone that look because otherwise she shouldn't be working here.
"Are you sure?" He asked.
I nodded then took a bite out of my pizza.
"This is so good!" I exclaimed with my mouth still slightly full.
