Today is your sister's 16th birthday.
You are late on a present, considering you just flew back to Houston last night.
You quickly run downstairs and see your mom in the kitchen.
"Hey mom, do you have any clue what I could get Y/S/N for her birthday?"
"Y/N, you don't have a gift?", your mom asks worried.
"I flew in last night, i didn't have time!"
She sighs, "She was complaining the other day about how she's running out of music to listen to, maybe go down the the music shop and buy her a cd?"
You kiss your mom on the cheek,"thank you!"
After grabbing your keys and putting on shoes, you drive to the local record shop.
As soon as you walk in, you run to the alternative section.
Y/S/N only listens to alternative and pop punk music.
There are tons of CD's, there's no way you can choose one , you think to yourself.
it's also pretty hard to think when "you da one" by Rihanna is blasting throughout the music store.
"Can I suggest a CD?", a voice asks from behind you, catching your attention.
"Anything would be helpful.", you turn around and see a boy with bright blue hair.
"Double Dare by Waterparks is amazing, if you're looking for alternative.", he says.
You smile at him, "That's perfect, thank you.", you grab the bright yellow album with the words "Double Dare" popping out.
You quickly go to the counter and fumble with your bag to find money.
"Why are you in such a hurry?", the same boy asks.
"My sister's birthday party is soon, and this is my present for her. I'm gonna be late.", you reply looking at your phone
"Oh, well I can sign the CD for you. It might make her care less about you being late.", he suggests.
"You're in Waterparks?", you ask.
He smiles, "I'm awsten, I am the lead singer of waterparks.", and signs the CD.
