first date : awsten

As soon as you wake up, you jump out of bed.
Today's your first date with Awsten.
You really like him and you want this to turn into more.

You shower, (girl) put on light makeup, and turn to your closet to pick out clothes.
Awsten never told you where you're going, so you decide to text him.

but wear something you feel good about yourself in, you'll look amazing in anything

You put your phone on your bed and begin to look for an outfit.
After what seems like forever, you find an outfit.

(Girl) You put on a white, flowy dress and white sandals. You braid your hair and put fake daisies throughout.
(Boy) You put on black skinny jeans, a tuxedo shirt, and doc martens. You decide to let your hair go natural.

You lay around your house until 8pm, when awsten shows up at your door with flowers.

"You look amazing.", he gushes.

"Thank you, you don't look too bad yourself.", you slightly blush.

He smiles and takes your hand, leading you to his car.
He opens the door for you.

"Such a gentleman.", you tease.
He winks and climbs into the driver side.

"So, you still haven't told me where we're going.", you point out.

"I can't tell you, that would ruin the surprise."

You fake pout and look out of the window, as if you were in a sad movie.
But, you instantly smile when awsten grabs your hand.
You two held hands and sang throwback songs the whole drive.

About 30 minutes later, Awsten parks in the woods.
Now usually, this is the part where you say "are you going to murder me?", and be half serious about that question, but you trust awsten and you are more excited than nervous.

He leads you through the trees, and helps you over a couple of fallen down trees.
You laugh as he almost falls.

Awsten grabs ahold of your hand again, and pushes branches out of your vision, showing you an open area.
There are fairy lights hanging from the trees and hanging on lines that were dragged across, and underneath all of that was a table lit up with candles.
Underneath the table was a picnic basket and some blankets and pillows.

You are in awe.
"Awsten, this is gorgeous."

He smiles, and leads you to the table.
Awsten takes food out of the basket and places it on the table and the two of you begin to eat and talk the night away.

After what seems like hours, you are both finally done eating.

"Y/N, I'm so sorry if this seems like too much or if this makes you uncomfortable. I really wanted this date to be over the top and special.
I don't do the dating thing a lot, because of my job. I could never really find anyone who I wanted to work things out with, until I met you.
I really like you. And I know you're special. Even if my job makes things complicated, I really want to find a way to work things out between us because this is something I don't want to lose. I don't want to lose you."

"Awsten, this whole date has been absolutely amazing. No one has ever done anything like this for me.
And I completely get it, your job makes relationships hard because long distance is extremely difficult. But i really think you're worth all of it, and I'm so glad you think the same about me.", you smile at him.

He kisses you on the cheek, "I appreciate you so much."

"I appreciate you too."

The rest of the night, you two lay out a blanket and cuddle under the stars until you fall asleep.
