Chapter: 21 ('Hello and Bye')

"I don't agree with you Mr. Sen. Either it's mine or no one can have it," to keep a little distance I step forward and he make a displeased sound of fear.

My lips twitched at his nervousness, and the excitement overwhelmed. I like the fear in his eyes. If he mistaken now then I wouldn't take no time to annihilate his life— here.

"But—"

"Mr. Sen, I said it before and I'll say it again." I took long step and stood in front of him. "If you disagree I will kill you here right now but if you take the bet then it will give you few more days to live. And now tell me which deal you will like to take?"

He step back with fear. "Fine. But you have to give me protection. I am going against him."

"I am not my father Mr. Sen, if you ready to give me your loyalty I would give you my words of protection."

"Then I am with you and my loyalty with you."

I nod and give him the paper to sign.

After making the agreement we left. Now it's mine. It wasn't easy but he made the right choice.

"How do you know that he won't betray?"

"Trust. Safety. Invested. Trust is something which we can invest in a risk and if I wasn't wrong he would be loyal to his words."

Dhruv raised an eyebrow in befuddled. "Sometimes your words fly away above my head. I don't understand."

"Because you are an idiot."

"Whatever!" he shrugs. "No more calling for me. I am going to keep an eye on my girl."

"It's me who decides not you fucker." I growled. Nothing can come between my works.

"You can call Cabir."

"Still I would prefer you." with that I left him alone and I could hear his beautiful curse words directed to me but eventually he followed me.

We reached home and head towards the study— want to discuss something important. And also want to avoid the tempting lady I have in this house. And the simple thought of her making me sweating.

Fuck.

"What are you waiting for? Call others." I snapped and Dhruv frowned at my sudden mood change. I turned and waited for him to leave.

I stared at the wall not sure what I was doing, circling the table I waited for them to come. I couldn't lose my shit like this. She would be gone and I would left alone so no way I lose shit for a girl. But I also knew it would be hurt to let her go.

I can't make what I want right now. I feel sweat drip from my forehead and reach to my throat. My heart pounds in my ear. And then next moment I feel hands on my back. I angled my head to see who it is and Harshad looked at me warily.

"Are you all right?"

I felt pain explode but this was not the bad kind of pain... it was weird pain that I never felt before. I didn't make a sound or anything so he shook me.

"Manik?"

"Fine. I am Fine."

"Okay?" He doesn't seem like convince with me but didn't pull the matter. "Why did you called us?"
