Emma! Are you alright?” Merlin asked running towards me.

He stopped when he saw Kara dead in my arms.

“Oh no. It’s going to happen.” He said looking around.

“Merlin, she, she gave her life for me.Why would she do that? She said I need to rescue the druids from Morgana. I don’t know what to do…” I said sobbing.

“She felt your power and knew that you're stronger than any druid out there” Merlin said sitting beside me.

“She knew that your life is more important than any other, even mine.” He said whispering.

“Merlin, how can you say that? You’re the most powerful sorcerer that has ever lived.” I said quietly.

He just smiled at me and said “I’m here because of one destiny… To protect Arthur and to help you save us.”

We were interrupt as Mordred pushed Merlin away to see Kara. Tears were sliding down his face abut at the same time his face was pure madness.

“Kara what have they done to you?” he said looking at her.

He then pulled her off my hands and looked straight at Merlin who was still on the ground.

“You’ll pay for this, Merlin.” He said angry and walked away.

I turned my head at Merlin who just said “Not again!”

I helped him up and we decided to go and speak to Arthur about this whole thing. Merlin knocked on his door.

“Who’s there?” we heard Arthur’s voice.

“It’s Merlin and Emma.” Merlin said.

The door opened really fast and there stood and really tired Arthur.

“What?” he said grumpy.

“Wow, that’s a nice way to greet your handsome slave and the great princess of Elmet!” Merlin joked.

“I was only talking to you, Merlin.” He said.

“Oh even better!” I said laughing. Arthur turned around.

“So, why are you here?” he said. Merlin and I looked at each other confused.

“My lord haven’t you seen what happened a few hours ago?” I asked.

Arthur raised his shoulder. “No, not really. I was asleep.”

He drank from his golden cup. Merlin came closer to him.

“Arthur! Morgana just attacked Camelot and you were sleeping?

When Arthur heard that, he spat all his drink out of his mouth directly at Merlin. Oh, how I wish I had a camera then.

“How is this possible?” Arthur was confused.

Merlin used his hand to whip off the drink in his face but then looked at Arthur.

“Arthur, what is this for a drink?” he said worryingly.

“Just water why?” Arthur said. Merlin shook his head.

“No, this is not water, just look!” he showed us his wet hand and we saw a greenish liquid.

“What is that?” I looked at Merlin.

“Probably just sleeping poison.

“Who would do that?” Arthur said yawning.

I laughed and whispered to Merlin “Could it be Mordred?

“Probably but we-” he was interrupt as Arthur fell down asleep like a little child. Merlin and I laughed.

”Come on! Let’s place him on the bed.” I said taking Arthurs hands.

Why? He looks so peaceful on that dirty floor.” Merlin said. I looked at him serious.

“All right then!” he said taking his feet and placing him on his bed.

We both went outside wondering where Mordred was.

“Merlin, he will tell Morgana about your secret.” I said worried.

“Maybe it should happen” he looked at me.

“I don’t think so.” I said and saw Mordred far away from us settling his horse ready to leave Camelot.

I ran to my horse and waited for him to go so I could slowly follow him. He went into the woods, so I had trouble not to lose him.

But then he suddenly stopped at a lake. He looked around to make sure no one is there. Then he whispered a spell. I did not understand what he said but I saw a creature coming out of the lake. It looked like one of those creatures you could find in a Yu-gi-oh episode.

Suddenly out of nowhere Morgana came and said “Ah! I  see you awaked our friend. Didn’t like it in Camelot that much?

“Not really” he said looking away. She smiled.

“Anyways I want you to go back to Camelot and search for the book”

 “What book?“ he asked.

“The prophecy, you fool.” She said looking away.

“But why do you need this? ”Mordred said pointing at the creature.

“It will help me get me the druid flower.” As she said that Mordreds eyes were wide open.

“You won’t hurt them, right?” he said.

“Oh no, no. I won’t.” she said smirking.

How could Mordred not see her lying face? She was lying her soul out, If you can say that so.

He just turned and went back to Camelot as she said. I stood there for a few minutes and decided to follow her and rescue the druids.
