I think that there is only one more chapter before the epilogue and honestly I have a confession.
None of this was planned. This story one day came out of nowhere and to be honest it has taken a route that I am both in love with and both pleasantly enthralled over. Quincy's and October's story will continue in book 2 along with other characters. I will only commence book 2 when pleased with my achievement of my other books and the possible interest that I would have gained. I love writing and this has only been an emotional journey to write these guys out. It's coming to a close and the other chapters are nearly all done so I am quite lonely now. :( If you want more action/adventure Boy x Boy with a dash of Mpreg then I suggest Year 2012. Another one of my works, for sweet and normal go for Jasper Smith must die. :)

Quincy's P.O.V
Numbness was what I felt. A hollow inkling that made me sense a form of queasiness. Maverick and Martin had already started debating on tactics, Zachary's hold on me never loosening for the millisecond. Eventually when they seemed to have waged on an agreement they directed Steven over. The Were-elephant approached them warily, Josh and Derrick soon followed after. Haley stood separately, occasionally throwing a worried glance Rowan's way. I had in the mean time found myself weapons, dug out a silver pistol gun, switched my regular shoes for my long boots as I slid in a carefully curved sword. Something told me that I would need to do this, I would need them. At that same time Rowan had clothed Frederick in weapons too, careful to make sure to comfort the Omega as she dressed him in a dagger knife along with a familiar sharp revolver.
Maverick was the first to speak, turning around to face me. He advanced, Zachary stepping back respectively. The Beta guards in the room were gradually loosening their composure, a few of them even going as far as to slack in their stance. Their previously stoic faces were now steadily rigid, laced with concern. I knew what their issue was; they wanted to return back to their Mates and families, assuring that they were out of harm's way before the undoubtedly set attack would take place.
Maverick addressed me, coughing. "We have come up with a plan. Will you hear us out?"
Isabelle frowned, "Why drag your brother into this?"
Maverick rolled his eyes, as if this was all far too easy. "Guess what mother? As he is the rightful king the people will only listen to his command in such extreme anxiety, neither are we likely to give him up all too easily. Do not tell me that you made us protect him for so long for us to just give him up to the next passerby."
My mother nodded grimly. "Go on then."
Maverick shrugged his shoulders, turning to me directly. "We have an idea. Our normal Beta defence isn’t going to resolve this, if the assumption is right then October is with the Tengu's in addition to that I don't trust that he has a full hold on his mind currently."
"I agree." I stated, Zachary did a double take.
Maverick went on, "So we will stay and fight. After all this is our home, and our everything. Traditionalism will not die today but we will need at least half of the Alphas to stay."
