Chapter 3: My Past

Natsu pov

Why did (Y/n) punch me? (Y/n) walks backwards towards that guy with tears. The guy smirk when (Y/n) was right in front of him. She turn to face him. He grab her by the neck.

"(Y/n)!!" I ran over to her and the guy. "One more step and her life ends here~" The guy says smirking. I stop in my tracks. "Who are you?!?" I yell at the guy. "(Y/n)'s past~" he looks up at me. My eyes widen. He is the one that (Y/n) has nightmares about?!

Suddenly (Y/n)'s whole body glows a golden light. The guy was sent flying backwards. "Natsu." I look beside me to find a worried Lucy. Happy flow onto my shoulder while Hope flow to Lucy's shoulder. "Why is he here?!" Hope whisper. I turn my head to her. "You know about him?" I ask and Hope nods.

"He is (Y/n)'s father."

(Y/n) pov

I watch as he stood up from hitting a house. "So you figure a way out of my control." He chuckled. I felt a hand grip my shoulder. I whip my head around to see Natsu. Then my shoulder started to feel on fire. "Ow! Natsu stop!" I move out of his grip. Natsu threw a punch at me. I dodge quickly.

"Natsu! What is wrong with you?!" I dodge another punch Natsu threw at me. "Lucy! Help!" I punch Natsu and he lost balance. Lucy nods her head and takes out a key? "Open! Gate of the Bull! Taurus!" Lucy yells. A magic circle appears in front of her and this bull like man spirit appear.

"Helloooo miss Lucy~ Yooou are looking just fine today~" the spirit Taurus said. I raise an eyebrow at the scene. "Taurus I need you to take out that guy over there!" Lucy point to father and Taurus pulls out a axe. "Yes ma'am~" he charges at him.

(Play music)

Natsu jumps back up and tackles me. "Natsu! You need to get a hold of yourself! You are letting him control you!" Tears were slipping down my cheeks. Natsu froze at the sight of me crying.

"Please Natsu. I don't want him to kill you like he did with Jane. He's after something I don't know. He killed my family, I don't want him to hurt Fairy Tail. Please don't let him control you." Tears continue down my cheeks. Natsu just stared down at me.

I close my eyes wanting to get away from here. I felt Natsu pull me into a hug. "I didn't know you lost your family to your father...... Don't worry I will protect you from him with my life." When Natsu said that last part my eyes widen. I know Natsu will do anything to keep me safe. But I don't know, can Natsu really protect me from my past?

I slowly wrap my arms around Natsu. Crying into his chest. "Aaahh!" I turn my head to Lucy yelling from pain. My eyes widen as I saw her fall to the ground. "What did you do to her?!" Natsu yelled. "Oh nothing. Just a little pain here and there~" father smirk at us. "All I need to do now is beat one more brat and I will be on my way with my prize~" Natsu growled and pull me closer. "You won't lay a finger on her." I look up to Natsu. His eyes narrow with anger.

I stood up and Natsu watch me with an shock expression. "You will not hurt Fairy Tail! You can hurt me all you want! But you won't get what you want!" I yell at him with tears. "Your magic." I look at my father confused. "Your magic is what I want. You have great magic hidden inside. Just like Jane and your mother. They had hidden magic, but your magic is special." He looks up with fatherly eyes.

I haven't seen those eyes since I was 4 years old. His hands glows a black. He throws his hands up sending his magic straight towards me. I waited for the magic to hit me, but I saw salmon hair jump out. My (e/c) eyes widen as I watch Natsu fall to the ground.

"Heh, that beat is token care of, now for you!" Father walks over to me. "(Y/n)!!" I heard Happy and Hope yell. I felt my magic increase. "Star Dragons Secret Art: Star Sword!!" I yell and a sword with a golden blade appear in my hands.

I run straight towards him and swing my sword at him. "Star Dragons Roar!!" I roar out a golden light. When the dust clear, I saw him knock out cold. I pant lightly. "Happy can you get Natsu, and Hope get Lucy." I turn towards to the two exceeds. They nod quickly. Once they picked up Natsu and Lucy, we headed back to Magnolia.
