Y/n pov

I lean into Natsu's arms to get warm. Since that mission with that ice wizard, I been freezing cold. I'm just glad Natsu is still at the guild and didn't take a job. "Here Y/n, I made you some tea to help warm you up." Mira place a cup down in front of me. I pick it up and take a sip. "Oo! Hot! Hot!" I quickly put the cup down and held my hand to my mouth. There was a low chuckle beside me. I turn to Natsu trying to hold his laughter. "I'll like to see you drink the tea." I pout crossing my arms. "Nothing hot will bother me, babe." Natsu smirks at me. My face heats up to my ears red and it feels like steam is coming from my ears.

Why did I forget he is an Fire Dragon Slayer?! I mentally scream at myself. Then without thinking I splash the tea on Natsu. "Oh no." I said childishly and jump up and ran. I heard footsteps behind me. I look over my shoulder to see Natsu chasing me. I start to laugh and ran around a table. "I'm gonna get you N/n!" Natsu yelled at me. "I don't think so!" I yell back and threw someone's plate of food at him.

The plate hit Natsu right in the face. Quickly need to find a hiding spot than worry if Natsu is okay. I thought and quickly hid under a table nearby. The chairs was in my line of sight, so I quietly try to move them. One of the chairs made a noise and I pause. I look around and saw no Natsu. I slightly poke my head out to look around. A hand grab my ankle and pulled me out from under the table. I made a little noise.

"I got ya!" Natsu pin my wrists to the side of my head. I giggle mlean up and kisses Natsu. "Get a room you two." A voice call out. "What you say Ice Princess?!" Natsu was up and already starting a fight with Gray. I sit up as a chair behind fall over. "I said get a room you two!" Gray punched Natsu. "We will later!" Natsu punches Gray back. I blush at what Natsu said. Maybe he didn't mean it that way. My face was burning up.

"You okay Y/n?" Lucy bent down in front of me. "Y-yay." I scratch the back of my neck and crossing my legs. Lucy just stared at me for a few more seconds before she smirked, "You thought Natsu was talking dirty? Did you?" My face goes more red that would put Erza's hair to shame. "N-no I didn't think that!" I hid my face in my hands.

"So you two are finally getting along?" I turn to see Natsu and Gray with their arms around their shoulders doing high kicks. "Aye." Natsu nervously say. I let out a sigh and stood up. "Hey Erza!" I wave towards her. "Hello Y/n!" Erza sends a smile my way.

"Gray, Natsu, I have a job for us. Y/n and Lucy, you two can come along." Erza holds up a request. Yes! Finally we get some action! My eyes widen with excitement. "Come on Lucy, we better go to make sure the two won't fight each other!" I smile towards Lucy. "Okay!" Lucy gives a thumbs up.

"Hey Erza, what's the job about?" Natsu asks her. Erza eyes sparkle, "It's cake shopping for the client's twin daughters birthday!" Lucy goes quiet and I giggle at her reaction. "Let's go get that cake!" I yell and ran towards the door.

Erza looks at every cake in the bakery. "Let me try your best strawberry cake." The baker goes to the kitchen to get the cake. "Erza make sure you get a cake for yourself so you don't eat the client's cake." I told her looking up from the display of cakes. "Yes, thank you Y/n." Erza nods.

The baker returns with the strawberry cake. We all watch Erza take a bite out of the cake. Her brown eyes sparkle up, "This cake is perfect! I would like 100 more." Erza finishes the slice of cake. "Erza just one more." I held up a finger. "But." Erza's eyes were shock. "Just one more sir." I smile nicely at the baker. The baker returns with the two cakes and I take one while Erza takes her cake.

We deliver the cake to the client and got the reward. "Man, 1,200,000 million jewels just for a cake. She really was busy getting the birthday set up for her kids that she didn't have time to get a cake." Lucy says as we walk back to the guild. I nod my head looking down at Hope in my arms. I look up to the sky to the orange pink sunset. "I'll see you guys at the guild tomorrow." Erza, Gray, and Lucy nods and makes their way to the guild.

Natsu and I made our way back to our place. "What do you think tomorrow will bring us?" I lean my head on Natsu's shoulder as he wrap his arm around my waist. "I don't know. Just another day with you." Natsu smiles at me. Man, I love his smile. I love everything about Natsu. I don't know what I would do if I never met Natsu when we were little.

We made to the house and Hope and Happy flew over to the couch. "Man, I'm starving." Natsu sits down on a chair. "I will make something for us to eat but first I'm gonna change." I peck Natsu on the cheek. I close the door to our room and went over to my dresser. I pull out one of Natsu's shirts and a pair of f/c shorts. I change quickly and put my other clothes away.

I brush out my hair and in the mirror I saw a letter on the bed. I turn to the bed staring at the letter. I walk to the bed and pick up the letter. Only my name was on the letter and nothing else. I open the letter to see what's it about. My eyes widen when I see the handwriting.

Y/n,

Hey sis I'm coming home soon. I know I said it was only gonna be a day or two but the client has more work for me. Don't worry I will bring back some f/ca for you as an reward for waiting some long. I promise I will tell you everything once I get back and I have a surprise for you. I can't wait to be home with my little sister so you'll be brave for me until I get back, right? I know you will. See you soon.

Tears were sliding down my cheeks. I held onto the letter tightly. I fell to my knees laying my head down crying. "T-this letter was h-her last one b-before he came a-along." I sob into the blankets. The door open and I turn my head to Natsu. "Y/n?!" He quickly ran to me and pull me into a hug. I drop the letter and wrap my arms around his torso. I heard Natsu pick up the paper beside me. I try to hide my face but Natsu gently puts his hands on my cheeks and lifts my head up. He wipe the tears away from my cheeks. I can see the sadness in his eyes, the sadness when his see me cry or hurt.

Natsu rest his forehead against mine. He was quiet for a moment. "This person isn't gonna get away with hurting you like this, I will make them pay for making you cry." Another tear slip down my cheek and on Natsu's hand. "Natsu.." He pulls me into another hug.

My crying soon turn into sniffles and I was slowly falling asleep. Natsu keeps his arms wrap around me and kisses the top of my head. And with that I fell asleep.
