Chapter 4: Say Something (sad)

(Y/n) pov

It has been a month and Natsu hasn't woken up yet. Lucy woke up, but not Natsu. Some of the guild says Natsu isn't gonna wake up soon. But I believe he will. I haven't gone on any mission since that one.

I haven't ate much. Hope and Erza would force me to eat. I sit next to Natsu's bed waiting for him to wake up. I heard footsteps approach the infirmary. The door opens, I don't even bother looking because I already know who it is. Lucy always comes and apologize for not being able to take out father.

"Hey (Y/n)." Lucy walks over to me. "I'm sorry for not taking care of that guy." I know she feels so guilty and sad. "It's not your fault, Lucy. You don't need to apologize. That spell was meant for me, so it's my fault Natsu is in this state." A tears slip down my cheek. There was silence for a few minutes. "Levy is still looking for any type of magic that will wake Natsu up." Lucy said even more sad.

Levy have been looking for a spell for a month. I don't think she is gonna find one. I didn't answer Lucy. I can feel her stare at me. She stands up and leaves the room. The door opens again and Hope came in. "(Y/n)? Can we go home? It's getting late." I nod my head standing up. I pick Hope up and glance over to Natsu. I look down and lefted.

Two months have passed. Everyone is for sure saying Natsu isn't coming back. I don't know what to think. Should I accept that Natsu is gone or should I stay believing he will come back? This is the question I had for a few days now.

I whisper the song so no one can hear me. Tears came falling down faster than usual. "Please say something, Natsu Dragneel." I cover my face with my hands. "I-I fell in l-love... w-with my b-best friend... I-I want to b-be with y-you... N-Natsu D-Dragneel..."I stuttered crying even more.

I stood up from my chair and wipe away the tears. I lean down to Natsu's face. I kiss Natsu. Tears falling onto his cheeks. I pull away from him. I walk over to the door and took one last glance towards him. I look down to the floor and left.
