~|Luke’s POV|~
“Alright. We have to play a game of truth or dare,” Michael smirks. “Or it won’t be fun!” Ashton adds. I’m not sure if I should agree with them or not to play. This game could go either way.
I groan, and then answer them. “fine.” I shuffle across, forming a circle.
“Okay. Let me start,” Michael says. “Calum. Truth or dare?”
Calum’s lips form a thin line, then he answers: “Dare.”
“WAIT!!” Ashton shouts. We all look over at Ashton, who is standing up and running off to the kitchen.
“This game will be more fun with alcohol!” He smirks, sitting back down with a stack of beer. We all take one, opening it straight away. I take a small slip of mine, the place it down next to me. I’m not much of a drinker.
“Okay, Calum...I dare you to hug Ashton for a really, really long time.” Michael giggles like a little child.
He’s tipsy already; that’s for sure.
Calum shuffles over to Ashton and wraps his long arms around his torso, and rests his head on Ashton’s shoulder.
I stare at them for a little longer, feeling a shot of jealously run through me.
Wait.
Am I jealous of Ashton.
No.
Never.
I’m not the jealous type of person.
I think Ashton saw me staring at them, so he pushed Calum away and made him continue the game.
“Ash, t or d?”
“Truth. Playin’ it safe.” Ashton replies. Calum asks him a question, Ashton soon answering.
“Luke, truth or dare?” He turns to me and asks me.
All eyes soon fall onto me. I take another slip of my beer, and then reply with my answer: “Dare.”
Not the best idea to say to Ashton. But Michael is worse.
“I dare you to have a full on make out session with Calum!”
My eyes grow wide. Kiss Calum? Is he really this drunk already?
“For five minutes!! We’ll be timing.” Michael adds.
I turn and face Calum with my eyes still as big as beach balls. He faces me minutes after. He seemed pretty calm, but I could see how much he’d rather kiss a girl then a boy.
“You can also go into Ashton’s room if you don’t feel comfortable with us watching. But you will have to bring in my phone with the timer on it, and you have to make out.”
“A dare is a dare.” Ashton shrugs.
Calum stands up and walks towards me. He bends down and whispers into my ear: “If you don’t want to kiss a boy, that’s completely fine with me. Because I’d much rather refuse. But it’s a dare. We won’t tell anyone, and plus, we’re pretty much drunk and won’t remember much of this tomorrow.”
I nod, then stand up, take the phone off Michael, and follow Calum into Ashton’s room.
I’m speechless. Though I’m quite excited. Maybe this will help me figure out my sexuality.
I close the door behind me, and turn around on my heels to face Calum.
His lips were in a thin line. I looked back up at him, staring deeply into his eyes. He took a few steps forward, then pushed me back. He kept pushing me back, until I was up against the wall.
Calum grabbed the phone off me, put it down on a table, then pressed the button, setting off the timer.
This was it. Time for our full on make out session.
Calum walked back over to me, and grabbed the collar of my shirt. I just continued to stare at him. I waited for him to make a move, since I was completely frozen in my spot.
I looked down at his lips. They were so plump and red. Perfect for kissing.
Wait, what?
Calum took one last step toward me, closing the gap between us. He got extremely close to my face. I can tell you that. But he got closer. He soon placed his lips on mine, making my body shiver.
Butterflies started to erupt from my stomach. The kiss only lasted for a few seconds, before Calum pulled away.
“My god.” He gasped. I didn’t understand what he meant by that – If he meant it in a bad or good way. Honestly, who knows with Calum.
I didn’t get the chance to say anything, he just smashed his lips on mine again, this time rough.
He swiped his tongue across my bottom lip. I opened my mouth, letting his tongue explore. Calum’s hands moved up, into my hair. He started playing with it, curling it around his fingers. My hands drew circles on his back. We continued to kiss, when Calum disconnects his lips from mine.
I suddenly felt cold.
“I-I’ve never felt like this before.” He spoke.
Once again, I didn’t know how to answer, or react.
He smirks, then cups my face in his hands.
“I need to ask you this question.”
I gulp, and then nod my head, indicating for him to speak.
“Why are you always acting so weird around me lately? Like shy and awkward. I know you’ve always been the awkward one, but never like this around us – me. What’s going on? If it’s something personal, don’t worry telling me.”
“It’s-it’s nothing,” I look down at my feet. “Luke, what’s wrong?” He asks again.
He lifted my face up with his fingers, so that he was staring into my eyes.
“I just need time to think about something," I start. “That’s all.”
He furrows his eyebrows, not letting his eyes escape from mine. The buzzer when off, indicating that it had been five minutes.
“I guess we better go and join Ashton and Michael now.” I quickly say, then leave the room – I need to go home, and I need to sort out these crazy feelings I get when I’m near or with calum, and when he touches me.
.....We can't forget that kiss.....
