Chapter 38

Chapter 38: (Helena's Point of View!)

 Me and Marshall got ready to go to Navy Pier. I asked my mother of it was okay and she said it was okay. I took my mother’s other truck.

 "Have you ever been to Navy Pier?" I asked Marshall.

"No just passed by when I was going to a meeting over here." He replied.

 It was a 30 minute drive. It was Saturday and Navy Pier wasn't packed which was weird but then I remembered there was a Chicago Bears game. Marshall put his hood on as we walked around hand in hand. A couple of people recognized us and asked for our autographs.

"It feels good to be home." I said as we started walking again.

 "You know I like it here. Its peaceful and your family is great." He said then smiled at me.

 "I miss being here but I love singing and being with you back in Cali." I said.

 "Yeah, but you don't know what the future holds... I was thinking that after you meet my girls you could move in with me." Marshall said as he looked at me.

"Move in with you? I don't know. What about Julie and Caroline?" I asked him.

 "I have 6 empty rooms. They can move in with us." He replied.

"Uh I don't know but I will think about it okay?" I said.

 "Okay cool." He quickly replied.

 We had a private boat ride. We went all around Lake Michigan. It was really nice. I just enjoyed my time with Marshall. After that we went back to my mother’s house. No one was home because they all went to my aunt Lizeth’s house to watch the football game. They didn't invite me because they know I hate the Bears.

"No one’s here?" Marshall asked me.

 "No they went to go watch the Bears lose." I replied.

Marshall laughed. I walked to my room and he followed me. I laid down and Marshall laid down next to me.

"You know it feels really good that you are here with me. You met my family and they love you. I can’t wait in till I meet your daughters." I told him then grabbed his hand and put my fingers between his.

"Well I'm glad I'm here. I love you and your family. I want you to meet my brother too." Marshall said as he looked at me them smiled.

 "I'd be glad to meet him." I quickly replied.

 I put my forehead against Marshall's.

"I love you." I whispered then passionately kissed him.
