Chapter 80 :( HELENA’S POINT OF VIEW!!)

* 2 months later! (December 25, 2004)*

 "Happy birthday Hails." I said as I hugged Hailie.

 "Thanks Helena." She said smiling.

"Here you go. Love you." I said as I handed her a present.

 "Love you too." She replied as she sat down and started opening the present.

 Hailie is now 9. Marshall and I are now engaged. I still can’t believe it. I am really happy. I have been going to see a therapist and that has really helped me deal with my problems. Right now all I am focusing on is my family and wedding. "

Wow! Oh my god! I love it! Thanks Helena." Hailie said once she opened her present. I got her and Alaina iPods and for Hailie's birthday present I got her a PS2.

"You’re welcome." I told her as I smiled down at her.

I gave Nathan a lot of clothes and I bought him a TV for his room. I bought Marshall a ring that had the date we got engaged on in carved in the ring, that way when we get married our official wedding ring will take its place. I also bought him a really nice key that is suppose to represent the key to my heart. He got me a new microphone that had my name on it. Also he bought me really nice clothes and a dress. We all got a lot of things. Marshall went into the kitchen to get Hailie's cake. He set it up and came out singing happy birthday so we all joined in. Hailie blew out her candles.

"Thanks everyone." She said smiling.

 I cut then served everyone cake. We all ate and kept opening present. Marshall came over and hugged me.

"They are growing so fast." He said.

 "That’s life. Don't worry she’s a great kid and you’re a great dad." I told him.

He smiled then kissed me. The rest of the day we all just watched TV, ate and played board games. I know that this is where I need to be... With my family.

 *1 week later! (New years eve!)*

It’s New Year’s Eve and Kim has the girls and Nathan is with our mom. 50 invited us to his house.

"Do you want to go? We don't have to." I told Helena.

 "Umm... Well yeah sure if you want." She replied.

 I am really proud of Helena. She isn't depressed anymore and I know that she’s a lot better.

"Well I guess were going." I said.

 "Okay. I’m gonna go curl my hair then." She said then started walking upstairs.

 It was already 8pm so I quickly changed then went to go check on Helena. She had the blue dress on that I got her for Christmas. She looked very beautiful.

"Ready?" I asked her.

 "Yep." She replied then walked in front of me. As she walked out I slapped her butt.

 "Ouch!" She screamed.

"I am very sorry. I can’t help myself." I said laughing.

 We walked out then headed to 50's house. When we finally got there I grabbed Helena's hand then we walked in. There was a lot of people.

"Lopez! Marshall!" I heard Deshaun scream.

 We walked over to him. Dre, D12, Snoop and 50 were sitting at a table. Helena and I said hi to everyone. We sat down and talked to everyone. We were all laughing and having a good time. Helena had 2 shots but I didn't drink. When the clock finally hit midnight I got up and hugged Helena.

"I love you babe. Happy new years." I told her.

 "I love you too Marshall. Another year with you. I can’t believe exactly one year ago Madelyn was conceived on this same night." Helena said as she looked at me.
