"Hey there sleepyhead," Justin kissed my forehead. I rubbed my eyes. He stood there with a plate of scrambled eggs and two pieces of bacon. I could definitely get used to this.

"Good morning," I signed. Yawning, he put the plate on the bedside table. He reached down and tried to kiss my mouth but I put my hand up to block him. "Let me eat then brush my teeth, then I'll maybe kiss you." I smiled. He had on a little pout but I didn't really care.

"Okay, come and get me when you're done then." Justin left the room smiling to himself. I didn't realize how hungry I was until I took a bite of the bacon. I ate the entire plate, heartily. I didn't even know he could cook that great. I had only known Justin for just a little bit, and he was already my new boyfriend. Under better circumstances, he probably would have taken me out on a date or two before he made it official.

The police had told me that my house was a crime scene so I wouldn't be able to go back until they cleared it. Unfortunately, they also confiscated my phone so I couldn't contact really anybody. They said I'd get it back after they went through the "evidence".

Justin and I had already went through a lot. Maybe I was ready to actually speak to him. I could trust him and he could trust me. After eating, I got up and left the bedroom. The hallway was kind of small but that didn't matter to me since Justin's family was gracious enough to allow me to stay at his house. I was wearing some faded out pajamas that looked like they were hand me downs. I walked into the kitchen with the scent of bacon and eggs lingering around. Before I could even walk in the kitchen, a little girl with brown hair and the same bright blue eyes as Justin tugged on my pajamas. I waved hello with a grin on my face. Immediately following, Justin jogged in and picked the little girl up and held her in his arms.

"Marie, meet my little sister, Jean." Justin smiled his pearly whites. He put her down. "Jean, this is my girlfriend, Marie." He signed to her. That must have been at least one of the sisters he had told me who was deaf. I wondered who else was deaf.

She smiled with her Jack-o-lantern teeth and signed to me.

"Hello. I'm Jean." She signed pretty quickly. She was definitely a fast learner. Jean was very outgoing for her age which surprised me since she was only five. I could tell that she would grow up to be something great.

Another girl with blonde hair and kind of a tall figure walked her way from the table towards me. She smiled and stuck her hand for me to shake.

"Nice to finally see Justin bring a girl home." She smirked. I could barely contain my laughter. Justin turned a shade of pink.

"Don't you have somewhere to be, Sally? Like school?" He raised his famous brow. I liked that Sally girl. Sally rolled her eyes and left the kitchen.

"So, Sally, Delilah, Chris, and myself are the only ones hearing of the family."

"Who's Delilah?" I signed in puzzlement.

"Oh why, she's my eight year old little sis." He said with his old Justin humor. "And here she is folks, the one and only, Delilah!" He exclaimed pointing her out. A rather skinny and pale girl with long brown hair scooted backwards towards Justin. "Say 'hi' Delilah." Justin said.

"Hi." She skulked into the other room.

"She's somewhat moody if you couldn't tell." Justin grinned. I could tell he was happy that I was finally meeting his family. "The twins are at speech therapy right now. And all that leaves is Quinn." I waved at the little baby girl eating her eggs in a high chair. She was quite small for her age. She had Justin, Jean, and Sally's blue eyes. I wondered if the twins looked similar.

"So, where's your mom and dad?" I signed.

"Stepdad you mean. He's at work and mom dropping the twins off at school right about now from speech therapy." He checked his watch. "Which reminds me, I need to take these kiddos to school today. Thank couches that I don't have to go today! Whew." He pretended to wipe sweat off his forehead.

"Thank couches?" I squinted my Asian eyes.

"Yes! If not for couches, where would we comfortably sit?" Justin made a face of an actual idiot.

"A chair, a bed, beanbags, and the list goes on, Justin." I crossed my arms.

"Eh whatever, I tried." He shrugged his shoulders and smiled. We stood there for a minute in awkward silence. How do you tell a guy that you like him but more than just like but not love? Did that sentence even make sense?

"Justin, I can't explain but I think I like you but more than like, you know?" I tried to sign.

"I know what you mean Marie Grace. I think I 'like-like' you too." He hugged me. I pulled away from the hug.

"I think I like-like you too Justin." I signed with a smile on my face. I grabbed his neck and pulled him in for a sweet kiss.
