Chapter 16

Katie's P.O.V

"Is he getting any better.." Harry said coming back in with hope in his voice as I looked over at him shaking my head. "Nothing. No movement, no nothing." I said looking at him as I heard him sigh.

"Well Liam just landed with the kids, they should be here in ten minutes." Harry said as I nodded. How am I supposed to break to the kids their daddy won't be coming home with us, he's gone. Daddy is in a safer place. Thoughts running through my head as I tried not to cry.

"I know Katie." Harry said softly as I ran to him crying into his chest again. "I can't live like this anymore." I said.

"I know you can't.." He said softly. "It hurts soo much inside. Harry I'm breaking. I'm about to hit the breaking point." I said as he shook his head.

"Mummy!" Lillie's voice filled the room as I ran out seeing her and Jake and ran to them kneeling down as I hugged them tightly.

"Mummy who's that." Lillie asked looking at Bella. "That's going to be your new sister." I smiled at you. "But I have a sister." She said pointing to Brianna. "My baby" I said and grabbed her from Liam holding her close.

"Yes Lillie your father and I adopted her." I said softly to her as she walked over playing with Bella as I brought happy tears to my eyes.

I walked back into the room with the kids and watched there reactions too see their dad laying on the hospital bed as I sniffled.

"Daddy isn't coming home with us today." I said looking at them. "Why mummy." Jake asked looking up at me as I frowned. "Because Daddy is sick."  I said looking at him as he nodded.

They're only four years old, what was I suppose to tell them. Their father is dead? I can't I want to so badly but I just can't. I can't believe Niall is dead. He's strong. Hopefully stronger then I think.

Zayn's P.O.V

Do I tell them. Why Niall is not dead, I can't it will be to hard on them. I know he will wake up, he wanted this. But why? Didn't he know it would break the family apart. But it's his job to do this.

"You ok Zayn?" Liam asked as I looked over at him and nodded. "Yeah I'm fine.." I said and looking at him and gave him the smallest smile possible as he walked away.

"Come on kids say good bye to daddy." Katie said in a sorrow voice as the kids all said good bye. I watched as Katie kissed Niall's lips one last time as everyone left. I walked out the door to see them leaving. "Where are you guys going?" I asked looking at them.

"Home." Katie said as they all left for the airport. I walked back into the room and shook my head as Niall shot his eye's open. "Are they gone?" He asked as I nodded.

"They went back home." I said as he nodded getting up and paying the doctor and nurse who were on the act as well.

"Where are we going now?" I asked looking at Niall. "Were going to go after Simon and finish the job."

"But what about your family." I said. "I'll write them a note. Katie will hopefully understand. And if she hate's me, I will understand. I have to do this, to keep my family safe." he said as I nodded. "well let's go." I said.

He nodded as we both walked out of the hospital and went to my car driving to the airport. "This better work." I mumbled and walked onto a plane to our destination.
