"Oh my god," Ryan whispers. He pulls me into a hug. I needed someone to lean against.
"Mrs. Fraser, can you explain this?" the officer questions with a notepad.
"I know who did this, but why? I can't believe. His name is Brent, but I don't know the last name. We were aquaintances. We met down below at the beach playing beach volleyball. Last night he kissed me and I turned away because I'm his girlfriend," I say pointing to Ryan, "I'm assuming this was jealousy," I finish explaining the cop.
"I do know a Brent who has been in trouble with the police before. His mother has provided with some background information. He has an anger issue."
"I'm just glad nobody got hurt," Mom says hugging Ryan and I.
"I'm sorry about this. I have enough information as it is. Thanks for your time Ms. Fraser," the officer says opening the front door.
Brent? I never even realized that he would be sooo jealous. I'm just another girl. He could've found some college chick, couldn't he have? I hug Ryan and he picks me up and brings me to my room.
"I'll be right back. I have to run somewhere," Ryan says kissing my cheek, "I'm bringing you a surprise."
"Ry," I start, but Ryan shuts the door before he could even hear me.
While I wait, I turn on the television and try to watch nineteen kids and counting on tlc, but I can't do it. I start to cry. My pillow start to get wet and soon enough, there's a tear stain the size of a baseball.
I await for Ryan to return for close to ten minutes.
"I'm back!" Ryan says cheerfully. It makes a small smile appear on my face. "I bought you your favorite shampoo, brought starbucks and brought movies and snacks. Is that good enough?" Ryan quesrions worried.
"Are you kidding me? This is perfect. It's just what I need! I love you Ry," I reply kissing him on the lips. He hugs me and pulls away handing me a caramel frappuccino. "You didn't have to," I reply grinning.
"You needed this," Ryan says holding my hand.
We watch TV and eat chips, gummy bears and sip on our drinks. I never would've thought that my best friend would once be here getting me through all of this. Ever.
"Ryan, you're the sweetest best friend and boyfriend I've ever had. I my life. Ever," I say honestly kissing his head.
"I love you Adelynn."
"I love you Ryan."

I wake up with the moonlight shining in the window.
"Adelynn," someone whispers. I sit up in bed startled to see Brent standing at the foot of my bed. I turn to see that Ryan isn't there
"Where's Ryan!?" I scream tears starting to flow down my cheeks.
"Why does is matter? I'm here now and I know you would rather be with me than that gay ass faggot!" Brent says coming closer to me.
"YOU BETTER HAVE HIM ALIVE!" I scream. "NO, GET AWAY FROM ME YOU PERVERT!" I holler as Brent walls closer and closer starting to hug me and kiss my neck. I try to kick Brent in the shins and in his 'area'. He falls on the ground and I start to run. I run into the kitchen where Ryan and Mom sit tued together back to back on the ground. I get a knife and hope that I have enough time to untie Ryan and Mom. I only get to fray the rope because Brent comes running up to me and sitting down on top of me starting to take off my clothes.
"Adelynn, you're dreaming. Wake up!" Brent says. I wake up and Ryan is shaking me.
"It's okay, you were dreaming. Come here. You're fine," Ryan whispers rubbing my back.
"It was awful. It felt too real to me. Brent was raping me and you and Mom were tied together so you couldn't save me," I say almost hyperventilating.
"Shh. It's alright. The cops have him in jail for three years," Ryan says into my hair continuously rubbing my back. I know something, Brent was here to haunt me. By the way that my dream was going, Bret's a pervert.
"Ryan, Brent's dangerous. I think my dream was telling me something, I think it's better that he's in jail," I reply scared.
A/N: So, that was intense. How did you like chapter 18 of Falling For Him? Things are changing now. Ryan is trying his best to support Adelynn, but she's in a difficult position right now.
