"Dad! What are you doing!? No! Get away!" I scream with Ryan holding on to me trying to steady me.
"Shh, calm down Ad," Ryan says rubbing my back.
"Ryan, my dad has a knife and Brent escaped from jail! I can't fucking calm down now!!!" I scream back.
"Sorry."
Soon enough, the cops start taking out guns and get Brent and tazer him. Then, they take my own father away. Away from me. Away from California. But will Brent escape again? Obviously he isn't stupid if he escaped jail once... I then gulp hard and start to cry. Why did this all happen to me?

"I'll be here for everything. I promise. I won't leave you," Ryan whispers to me while I sleep in his bed. He gave me another starbucks and everything. I couldn't help but just love him for that.
"I love you so, so, so much, Ryan. You don't understand how grateful I am to have you. You put up with me for a long time." At that moment, I leaned in and kissed him passionately for a while. I needed to express my feelings. I had a terrible week and better yet, a terrible day all together.
"Hey, Luke Bryan's in five weeks. You excited?" Ryan asks me brushing away one of my loose hairs in my face.
"More excited to be going with you," I reply grinning. I then hug him tightly and start to take in his scent.
We cuddle for the rest of the night where I feel the safest. With Ryan.

The next morning, Mrs. Thompson, Ryan's mother makes us a big breakfast. She made piña coladas without alcohol, pancakes, eggs, waffles, fruit bowls, you name it. I took a little bit of everything and followed Ryan out to his patio to watch the morning sunrise.
"It's pretty, isn't it," Ryan says playing with my hair.
"What, my hair or the sunset?" I say chuckling.
"Both."
I smile and eatch as more surfers start to park at the beach and hit the waves. I smile once the sun starts to rise. I snap a few pictures on my phone and take a picyure with Ryan.
"Who's that ugly looking blonde thing on the camera?" Ryan asks me teasingly.
"Who's that shitface righ in front of me?" I ask Ryan. We then lean in and kiss each other softly. As we were kissing, cop sirens were heard all throughout the beach. I gulp two times, but I just barely because my throat is so tight.
"You don't think that's..."
"Adelynn, it's fine."
But was it anymore?
"You two alright out here?" Mrs. Thompson questions,
"We're fine, Mom," Ryan responds annoyed.

Later on that day, everyone gathers around the beach. The cops flooding everywhere. If this is Brent, I'm literally moving to a different country.
"It's only an arrest. Nothing like Brent," Ryan replies holding me in his arms. I gulp hard again trying not to sob.
"Ryan, I didn't think a kiss could..could lead...to..this."
"Ad, we'll get through this. They have to take him away to a Jail in a different state. Then, all of this will be cleared up."
I look down at my tan feet polished with a coral nail polish. Where's Sarah when I need her? Probably all safe and sound with Adam. "Adelynn, I want to take you somewhere. It might seem dangerous to you, but I'll be there," Ryan suddenly states.
"Umm, alright," I reply unsure of myself.
"You're going to need a bathing suit," Ryan smiles happily.
"Alright?" I answer confused.

Ryan drives us to a beach, but not just any beach...the beach where this all happened. The holding hands, the first connection...where I fell for Ryan.
"Really?" I say blushing.
"Really." Ryan hauls out two scuba diving masks and passes one to me.
We run towards the water and start to hold hands. All of a sudden, tiny colorful fish appear and I start to see all of the coral plants and sea animals below. I stare over to Ryan and he smiles. I suddenly feel the rush of butterflies in my stomach and tingles run through my spine. Everything goes back to normal for a moment. I replay every moment from our first connection. Everything is perfect.
