Forgetting Them All, Remembering the Few (OC fanfic)

Chapter 4

Axl's Pov

It's been about two weeks since Ive joined the Kirstien residence. Jean has finally accepted that I didnt mean anything bad with asking about his father and is slowly starting to see me as a sister. Not that I see him the same way. He's really annoying and treats his mom really badly. I do have to remember though he isnt even a tween yet. Hopefully he wont turn out to be a total douchebag when he grows up. It was around noon when there was a huge crash coming from outside followed by screaming and loud footsteps. I looked out the window to see titans flooding the town and two specific ones, one who kicked down the wall which I recognized as Bertholdt's titan, and one covered in armor of skin which ran through the wall which I recognized as Reiner's titan. I ran out of the house as fast as possible to get there attention. Reiner spotted me and slowly walked closer. He picked me up and I screamed in his ear.

"REINER! KEEP THAT HOUSE SAFE!! ITS WHERE IVE BEEN LIVING AND A SWEET WIDOW AND HER SON LIVE THERE!!" He nodded and set me down,
killing all the titans in that area. I ran to the house and called for the other two.

"Jean! Ms.Kirstien! Follow me! I promise I'll keep you safe!" They ran out of the house following me and I led them to an underground tunnel. Some random titans saw us and Reiner tried his best to kill them, but I could tell he was tiring. I finally got them in the tunnel safely and decided to do something drastic.

"Alright you two. Stay here. And your about to see something unlike anything else before. Its okay if you dont want to see me anymore after this but just know that I appreciate you so much. Thank you." Ms. Kirstien was gonna say something but before she could I ran out of the tunnel and bit my hand as hard as I could until I saw blood. And then I could feel my body being surrounded with more and more flesh until I was in my full titan form. My titan is known as the cloning titan and I can make clones of my titan and human form to make a distraction. I help Reiner fight off the other beasts and there were still more. I decided to go back to the tunnel and grab the Kirstiens, but when I got there they were gone. Turns out the Garisson took them to a ship leading into Wall Rose. I had Reiner rip me out of my titan and ran away crying, not knowing what will come next. Reiner picks me up once again and I cut him out of his titan. There are no more people in Trost so at least we didnt have to worry about that. He pulls me along by the hand and took me to the gates surrounding Wall Rose.

"What the hell Axl?! Why did you do that!? Now your exposed!!" I didnt dare to look at him. I knew when Reiner got like this there is no calming him down.

"Im sorry! You look like you were getting tired and I wanted to help!"

"Well now you've exposed yourself. Great job."

"What do I do now?"

"See Axl, thats your job to figure out. You still are gonna kill the king right?"

"Yes!"

"Then do it. Find a way into Wall Sina and do it." He turns around. "Good luck Axl. Goodbye." I stand there shocked and I'm thinking. Okay, tonight's the night then. Ill dig under the walls like I did before and reach the castle. Once I do that I take the kings stuff and then kill him.

-time skip-

I finally made it to the castle in Wall Sina. It took a while but I eventually did it, taking out a few MP in the process. I also snagged some 3DMG off a dead soldier so that should help. I stand by one wall of the castle, manuever gear ready, and eventually get to the window outside the king's room. I quietly sneak into the room and stop just to admire its beauty. There were gold doorknobs and shiny jewelery littered all over. And then I see it. The crown. The essential symbol of royalty. I sneak over and take the crown, hiding it in my jacket. I then take the butcher knife hiding in my pocket and stab the king right in the chest repeating the same action over and over again. He screams but I try silence him with a pillow. Then footsteps fill the castle and I run as fast as I can to the window. Right as the guards open the door I stand on the windowsill. And then I jump off, using the gear around my waist to break my fall. The gear breaks entirely and I take it off. I run into an allyway, cornering myself. I finally give up and put my hands up as the MP hold guns pointed at me and one of them shoots my leg. I fall to the ground and the crown falls out, landing infront of me. They yank my arms behind me and put ropes around my wrists. The bullet wound starts steaming, but luckily I can control when I turn into a titan, so nothing happens. The soldier forces me off the ground and says,

"Oh the judge is gonna have an easy decision this time." Then I see his fist wind back and everything goes dark.
