Chapter 7

Axl's Pov

My trial was last week and Im still pissed off about it. Ive been sent under Petra Ral's supervision. Maybe it because I slapped Erwin and they dont want me near him. Maybe its because they didnt want Hanji to experiment on me 24/7. Or maybe just because Petra is a good example. Who knows? Well all I know is Jean is pissed off at me and hates my guts, Erwin still wants me to 'join him', and Hanji is almost dying just to get her hands on me. Basically what I expected from coming here.

Petra guides me to her room after they decided I was 'stable to stay with another person'

"So Axl. I want to set a few ground rules before we begin. Your only 13 so your curfew is 11:00 pm. No talking back to me and absolutly no titanshifting in this building. Do you understand?" I roll my eyes.

"Sure. I guess. But I have a few questions. So do you like Levi? I mean cause you look at him a lot so I just assumed." She started blushing.

"Um...Wh-what? What a-are you talking about?"

"You do! Oh this is just rich. Well I'm gonna go out to the training grounds. Bye Petra!" And with that I walked out of the room leaving Petra a studdering and blushing mess.

I got out to the training grounds to find Oulo, Gunther, and Eld standing near the forest, signaling for me to come over. I walk towards them and see they all have manuever gear on and a spare one for me.

"Axl. Now that your a soldier of the Survey Corps you must go through the training. We're gonna start with 3DMG training." Said Eld. I dont know why but he has really been easy to talk to these past few days. I dont know what it is but I trust him a lot. I strap up my gear and wait for instructions.

"Alright. Now try to get in that tree." He pointed to a near by tree that wasnt too tall but still could be a challenge for a newbie. He shot up to a branch followed by Oulo and Gunther.

"Now you try!" He yelled down. I readied myself and swung up to the tree with ease. The only new thing really for me is the swords and their holder. Remember? I used the gear to kill the king. Anyway, I landed on a branch with ease. Oulo was in disbelief but the others just stood there emotionless.

I just finished my training and I'm exhausted. Aside from sparring and flying through the air today, Hanji talked about some of her experiment ideas with me. The usual ones like how my blood evaporates when its exposed to oxygen and how I transform in the first place, but also some specialized just for me. Like my cloning ability or my endurance out of and in titan form. We settled down on about two experiments for tommorow. Maybe three if she doesnt completely destroy my body. Anyway, I'm in the eating hall right now trying to scarf down some potato soup when Eld sits beside me.

"Hey Eld. Whats up?"

"So Axl. You know that your trial was very popular. Yes?" I know exactly what he's talking about. The court decided it was just a spectacular idea to brodcast my trial from the nobles in Wall Sina to the villagers in Wall Maria.

"Yeah. What about it?"

"Well. This is bringing some trouble for Erwin. The people are begging to see you either to scold you or criticize you. He is getting buried right now in letters from the people and the new king to let the people see you. So with that being said, how do you feel about a tour?" Well. How convenient. Im currently the most popular thing talked about right now from this world to the next. Just. Great.

"I guess so. But what about the rest of my training?"

"We'll worry about that later. Now you have to get packed. We leave tomorrow morning." I finished my potato soup amd left my room. Eld did the same and walked to the other side of the camp. I pack what little things I had in a bag and got ready for bed. I could already tell that this was going to be an intresting adventure. They might as well put me in a museum as a display. That's all I'm good for now. Not bringing others food or helping cheer up a sad friend, but to be put on display for people to gawk at.
