"That lasted for days, actual days." Mal chuckled as we all laughed about the story of The Princess and The Frog.
Evie shook her head, "Not that it matters, true love's kiss..."
"Works every time." We all quoted together, laughing as we made it to the warehouse, Mal throwing a rock at the sign.
"I really thought that's what you and Ben had." Evie told me, and I only shrugged. In all honesty I thought we had that too, "Do you wanna talk about it?"
I shook my head, "I'm not going back, guys." They both looked at me in shock, "I really tried to tell you. But, if I go back sooner or later I'll mess up and-and I can't do that to Ben."
"If you're staying, I'm staying too." Evie told me.
Mal nodded, "Yeah, H, we're in this together."
I shook my head, "I can't guys, you belong in Auradon, where you can be whatever you want to be. And I belong here."
Mal leaned against the pole, "You're our best friend."
I smiled at her, "And I always will, no matter where I am."
We all nodded, before heading up the stairs towards the warehouse.
I didn't know what you were going through, Evie sang out as she looked over the balcony that looked down on the Isle.
Mal dropped her bag to the floor, standing next to me, I thought that you were fine, why'd you have to hide?
I shook my head, looking down at my shoes, I didn't wanna let you down, but the truth is out. It's tearing me apart, not listening to my heart.
I looked between my two best friends, my two sisters, I really had to go.
Evie placed her hand over mine, And I would never stop you.
My eyes looked out towards the sky, Even though we've changed.
Nothing has to change, Mal sung out as she looked over at me.
And you can find me in the space between, We all sang together, looking out from the balcony, Where two worlds come to meet, I'll never be out of reach. Cause you're a part of me and you can find me in the space between.
I thought back to all the time I had spent with these two, when we first saw the room in Auradon, Goodness 101, that crazy Tourney game.
You'll never be alone, no matter where you go. We can meet in the space between.
I then followed Evie up into the warehouse, where we all stood in front of the windows.
There are no words left to say, I took a hold of both of their hands.
Evie nodded at me, I know you gotta find your place.
Mal looked at the both of us, But this is not the end, She shook her head, her grip on my hand tightened, No, you're a part of who I am.
Even if we're worlds apart, We all sang, You're still in my heart. It will always be, you and you, and me!
We all held up our intertwined hands as a sign that the universe, no matter how hard it tried, could never spilt us up.
Yeah! You can find me in the space between!
We then ran down the stairs, chasing each other around the warehouse.
Where two worlds come to meet, we'll never be out if reach. Cause you're a part of me so you can find me in the space between!
You'll never be alone, Evie sang, walking forward and taking my hand.
Mal shook her head, a smile on her face as she took my other hand, We can meet,
In the space between! Yeah! No matter where you go.
We all pulled into a hug, a hug that if we tried, could last forever, and I kinda wanted it to.
In the space between.
