Ben nodded at the Headmistress, "Fairy Godmother, bring down the barrier."
I looked at the Fairy Godmother with pleading eyes, if she took down the barrier it would be the end of Auradon!
The woman shook her head, "I most certainly will not!"
Ben roared out, "I am your king!" This was not like him at all. Something had to be up.
Uma nodded from where she stood next to Ben, "Obey him!"
I then noticed Ben's glazed-over eyes, those were definitely not from the lights, "Ben's been spelled."
Evie and Mal traded worried expressions, "The spell book."
I nodded at my two best friends, glancing up at the stain glass window. I loved Ben! And he loved me too!
I then hiked up my dress, walking down the stairs, making my way towards the King and Uma.
"Ben," I walked towards the boy, "Benjamin Florian Beast." I smiled to myself as I said his full name. His kingly full name.
Uma shook her head, "Look at me. You love me, remember?"
I shook my head, "No you don't."
"Yes you do." Uma then turned to the Fairy Godmother, "Bring down the barrier!"
The Headmistress scoffed, standing her ground, "I do not take orders from you!"
I smiled at the King, the boy I loved, "Ben, I was so worried that I wasn't who you wanted me to be, but you never wanted me to be anything besides myself." I motioned to the stain glass window behind him, the one he had created for me, "That's me. Ben, I love you so, so, so much!"
I then pulled Ben into a kiss, electricity flowing through me as I did so. It felt like everything had fallen into
place."I love you too." I looked up to see Ben looking at me, a smile on his face, I laughed, pulling him into hug which he returned. The boat erupted with applause, and I didn't care what anyone thought of me. All I cared was that I had Ben.
"What just happened?" Jay voiced my exact thoughts as Ben and I turned to face our friends.
"Simple," Mal crossed her arms over her chest, "Ben's spell was broken."
My two best friends looked at each other before saying in synch, "True love's kiss, works every time."
I then pulled away from Ben, as Uma lunged towards the Fairy Godmother, grabbing for her wand.
"Give it to me!" Mal and Evie quickly blocked the Sea Witch's daughter from getting the magic wand.
"Guards!" The headmistress called, glaring at Uma with fury I didn't know she had, "Seize her!"
Uma glanced around as guards came towards her, before dashing to the side of the boat, everyone charging her.
Mal looked at me with pleading eyes and I nodded, raising my voice above the crowd, "Stop! Everyone stop!"
The group listened, staying behind me, as I separated them from Ursula's daughter.
"Uma," I locked eyes with the girl I had called my enemy for years, "You and I both know you don't have to do this."
Mal then made her way to stand next to me, slowly walking towards Uma, who was pushing herself against the railing of the boat.
"Uma, I know we've had a rocky past, but please just listen!" We all watched in silence, Ben's hand tucked into mine as Mal confronted the girl, "I know you, and I know you are so much more then just a villain! And you have to believe me because I've been there too. Do not let your pride get in the way of something you really want! Please!" Mal held her gloved hand out to the girl, who looked at it warily, "Uma!"
