I'm sorry about my time away. I've been sick and busy with school. But the excuses stop here - I am a VERY good procrastinator.
To make up for everything, I think am going to be posting really short updates (like this one) everyday for the next week or so. Unless I have a major brainstorm. So if I don't post for a few days in a row, expect a part the same length as it was when I first started writing this story.
Anyway, this update comes after I wrote myself into a hole. Honestly, I just hope you enjoy.

The Heart
The heart is a vital part of our body, but it is often portrayed in an incorrect manner. People often seem to forget that the heart pumps blood and oxygen around the body, but it has no say in who we love. That job belongs to the brain.
Maria Stark knew this, but that didn't stop her from blaming her heart for the hurt she felt after her return from the hospital. She knew that she needed to make things right, and in times like these there was only ever one solution. A solution that would make her father proud.
