So this part ended up being a little bit longer because I couldn't fit everything that I wanted to fit in without going over, so hopefully that's okay!! Thanks as always for all your kindness and support <3

After Dan left, I really wasn't in much of a party mood. The good news was that Ara's idea of a party was In N' Out Burger and watching Disney movies. Her and Niall were all cuddled up on the couch when I got there so I just grabbed the food they had ordered for me and settled myself down in the recliner. Tangled was currently on, Ara's favorite.

"So how did lunch go with Dan meeting the family and such?" my best friend inquired from the couch.

"Yeah, uh, funny story. Mom and I got in a fight as per usual and then her and Nathan just went back to the airport and Dan came home with me."

Arabella's head shot up and turned to look at me, "Autumn. What happened?"

"It's a long story and I'd rather not to get into it right now. Especially when we're trying to celebrate the fact that we just freaking graduated!!" I reminded her.

"Alright fine, but I wanna hear about it later. Speaking of your boyfriend, where is he? I once saw of a video of him saying he wanted to inject In N' Out into his veins so I can't believe he's missing this."

I laughed at the thought of Dan uttering that statement. I needed to find that video later...

"They're starting rehearsals tomorrow for the charity gig coming up so he had to fly back to London tonight." I explained.

"Aw that sucks, I'm sorry girl. Did you guys at least get to spend some time together before he had to leave?" she questioned further.

My mind drifted back to earlier when I was crying out Dan's name in pleasure.

"Y-Yeah um, we just hung out at my apartment for a bit." I stuttered out, praying that my best friend wouldn't notice just how flustered I was right now.

She just stared at me for a moment and then finally said, "Well I'm glad you two got to see each other and that he could be here for you today at least."

"Me too." I voiced, unable to keep a smile from spreading across my face.

Me too.

We finished watching Tangled and then I said goodnight to both of them because I had a meeting at the magazine first thing in the morning. I was already really missing Dan, so when I got home I changed into some pjs, cuddled up on the couch with Heather, and watched a few episodes of Twin Peaks before bed. Half way through the second episode I got a message notification on Twitter. It was from that girl Audrey! She wanted to thank me again for reaching out to her about Kyle and gushed about how she couldn't believe that she was actually getting to talk to her favorite person in the world. I told her it was no problem and that I was really happy to be able to help her and Kyle find each other. We messaged back and forth for a bit and just talked about random things. She was really cool and nice and I could definitely see why Kyle had taken a liking to her. Right as I was getting ready to tell her I was going to bed and would talk to her later, I received a message from her asking if I was dating Dan. She said she completely understood if I couldn't say, but that if it was true it made her really happy that Dan had found someone nice. The fact that someone like Audrey who had dedicated so much of her time and passion to Bastille over the years actually thought that I was someone good for Dan blew me away. I considered the fact that she was now trusting me with the beginning of her relationship with Kyle. Plus if we ever all ended up being in the same place together it would be pretty obvious what Dan and I were to each other. I decided to trust her, so I told her we were dating, but that it was still very much in the early stages and we were trying to keep things under wraps. She was quick to tell me how much she appreciated me confiding in her and then went on to express her joy for me and Dan. We talked for a little while longer before I finally forced myself to retire to my room and turn in for the night.
