A/N: idk if I wanna continue this because i've been reading something thats really similar to my plot in this book and its written so nicely that I feel like mine is super shitty :/

Trust Me: July 21st, 2014

A smile graced his face as he entered the bedroom. I had been here at his place watching tv and pondering alot all day. He just so happened to come home today as well.

I had been doing my best at keeping my cool and trying to make it seem like everything was okay. In reality, I was furious as hell and I was just waiting for the perfect time to go off.

"Whats good baby? You missed me?" he leaned down with a smirk and pecked my lips.

I chuckled a bit and nodded. "Of course."

He dropped his duffle and stared at me for a little bit. "Whats wrong?"

I shook my head. "Nothing, i'm just really tired."

He frowned. "Just really tired? You wanna shower and sleep?"

"Nah i'm good. How was the trip?" I asked him as I picked up my phone to keep my hands occupied. I was nervous and fidgeting would only give away how angry and eager I was.

"It was cool. Would have rather been here with you though" he laid down next to me and let out an exasperated sigh.

I let my tongue run across the inside of my cheek. "So I found out some information while you were gone. Its pretty funny actually..."

He looked up at me. "What happened?"

"I went home and Eva and I talked."

He instantly sucked his teeth. "I don't wanna hear no bullshit she fed you Devyn."

"I barely said anything."

"Yeah and you don't need to say anything if it came from her."

My face twisted up and I found myself chuckling. "What do you have against her? She didn't do anything to you."

"She's annoying and jealous as hell. She obviously doesn't want us together. Why would I like her?" he asked as if it were the most confusing thing in the world.

"How about because she's my friend? I get along with your friends for the sake of you."

He rolled his eyes. "So what? What is it she said?"

I took a deep breath. He was already making me mad and I hadn't even brought the shit up yet. "I'm going to ask you this and don't lie to me Justice, please."

"Go 'head" he urged after sitting up and giving me all his attention.

"Did you or did you not know her before we started dating?" I looked him in the eyes.

He started laughing. "What the fuck did she tell you?"

"Answer me..."

He stared in my eyes for a while. The fact that he wasn't answering was making my chest feel tight. "Yeah, I had met her before."

"You met her and had sex with her ..."

His jaw clenched and I knew it was true. "Devyn... that happened way before I even me-"

"Why didn't you tell me?!" I found myself yelling at him. He groaned and fell back on the bed. "You and her both knew and kept it from me!"

"This! This shit right here is exactly why I didn't tell you Devyn. Thats in the past and you bringing it up like it affects us right now or our future!"

"How would it not?" I rubbed my forehead. He was working my nerves.

"Before you knew about it, was it affecting us in any way?"

"Yes! My bestfriend was out here acting a damn fool because of it. All because YOU fucked with her feelings."

"That has nothing to do with us!" he yelled all while laughing like it was funny.

"The point is that you're too good of a fucking actor Justice. What else should I know about? Be real" I folded my arms and waited for him to speak up. He shrugged and glared at me.

"We can stand here all damn day honestly. Tell me something though... would you have given me a chance if I told you I fucked with Eva?"

"Hell no!"

He threw his arms up. "Exactly!"

"You're avoiding my question. What else have you been doing Justice?" I asked him again.

He smirked. "You think i'm cheating on you?"

"And you find that amusing?" I questioned.

"I do. We're months into this relationship and you still don't trust me" he grabbed his phone and tossed it to me. "You can look through it. Do what you gotta do Devyn but i'ma enlighten you. I worked too damn hard to get you, there's no way i'ma mess that up by going out getting my dick wet by somebody else."

I held his phone in my hands trying to figure out if I wanted to actually go through it. If I found something that I didn't want to i'd be hurt as fuck. He was talking like he had nothing to hide though. I wasn't sure if that was something that should make me worry even more or if it was a good sign.

My head started to throb and I felt tears sting my eyes. "Eva said you're still fucking with Courtney. Is that true?"

"You really beli-"

"Justice! I didn't ask for all the extra shit. Is it true? Yes or no?" I felt a tear roll down my face. I was starting to feel stupid. I was confused. I had no idea who I should trust. My bestfriend that I had known for years or this guy that I had only been with for some months.

"No, i'm not."

"Are you positive? Are you satisfied with that answer? Because if I find out you're lying, this shit is dead. Its over."

He chuckled. "I'm not lying. I promise. Now stop crying."

I took a deep breath and threw his phone at his chest before walking out of the room. I was so upset. I was disappointed in myself. I had made all of this fuss about how stern I was going to be and how deep of a pile of shit he was going to be in once I saw him but I folded. I wasn't sure if I felt this way because of myself or if I felt this way because he made me.

Either way, I was in shambles. I went through the kitchen cabinets just out of nerves and looking for something to snack on. While looking, I heard footsteps and rolled my eyes.

"Dev, this isn't going to work if you don't trust me" Justice said.

I shook my head. "Please stop talking to me." I grabbed a box of granola bars and took out a chocolate chip one.

I heard him sigh before walking over to me. "Look at me baby, you trust me right?" I looked him in the eyes. I felt as if I wanted to say yes but Lord knows I didn't. I didn't at all and I was supposed to trust who I was in a relationship with.

"Yeah" I mumbled. He smiled and kissed me.

"You dont sound too sure but I won't hold it against you" he chuckled and left the kitchen. I shook my head and took a bite of the granola bar.

At this point, I knew I definitely had a dilemma.
