As Dexter, Raven, and the Good King ate lunch, the Good King asked Raven and Dexter, "So when are you two love birds going home?" Raven almost spit out her orange juice. "Dad, I don't think I ever heard you call me and Dexter love birds." Raven laughed. "It took me by surprise. Sorry." Raven went back to eating her omelet. Dexter chuckled. "Um, I think we're going to pack our bags after lunch. And then head home to talk with my mom." Dexter looked down at his half eaten omelet. Raven could sense Dexter was not looking forward to talking to his mom. Raven grabbed Dexter hand under the table. Dexter looked at her and then smiled. "Is everything alright with you and your mother Dexter? You seem tense." The Good King asked. Raven answered for Dexter. "Dexter bought us a big house on the beach just for the two of us. But Dexter's mom can be very protective of him, and he just not looking forward to talking with her." The Good King nodded. "Well, I think she'll understand that you want to move away to have a house of your own with Raven and that you're going to be having twins with Raven and you want some time with just her before the babies come." Dexter looked up at his soon to be father in-law. "You think?" The Good King stood up and walked over toward Dexter and put his left hand on Dexter shoulder. "I know so." Raven grabbed her plate along with Dexter's plate. "I'm going to go clean these. Dad are you done with your lunch?" The Good King walked over towards his plate and pick it up. "Yes. Let me help you." The Good King put the cups they all were drinking from onto his plate. "Thanks. Dex, mind going starting to pack? I'll meet you up there." Dexter stood up and Kissed Raven cheek. "I will be up there packing." Raven laughed. As Raven and her dad walk into the kitchen Raven put down plates she carrying on a counter and walk over to her dad and hugged him. "Thank you for being there for me, and Dexter." Raven hugged her dad tighter. "You're welcome." Raven let go of her father and picked up the dishes she sat down on the counter and placed them into the sink and started to wash them.
Raven walked into the room Dexter and she was staying in, only to find not one bag was packed. "Dexter! Where are you?" Raven asked. "Over (Sniff) here," Dexter said. Raven looked around to see where Dexter said that. "Where?" Dexter put his hand up so Raven could see it. Raven walked over to the gap between his dresser and the wall. Raven laughed. "Um, are you stuck?" Dexter sniffed. "Yes." Raven went to the other side of the dresser and pulled it back towards her. Raven walked over back to Dexter. Raven helped him up. "Only you can get stuck between a wall and a dresser. Are you ok" Dexter took off his jacket to see his arm. It was really hurting him. "Dex! You're bleeding! sit on the bed. I'm going to get a first aid kit. Stay here." Raven ran to their bathroom and found the first-aid kit. "Here we go. Dex you need to take off your shirt. The one day you wear a long sleeve." Dexter took off his shirt. "You're lucky it not too deep, but you're going to be needing some stitches. How did you cut your arm?" Raven asked as she pulled out a wash cloth and some gauze and a pair of needle and thread. "I don't know. I tripped on one of your mascara. And as I fell, I felt a sharp pain, and it wouldn't go away. So I was stuck there for about three minutes until you came. Put the pain was getting worse every minute. I'm just thankful you came." Raven kissed his cheek. "Hold on, I'm going to find a bowl down stairs and fill it with water." Raven stood up and before she left the room she muttered, "Silly king." And walk out of the room. Raven came back about five minutes later with a small bowl full of water. "Ok, this is going to sting." Raven put the wash cloth into the small bowl and ranged it out and placed it on Dexter's arm. Dexter made a face because of the pain. "Just breath in......and let it out." Dexter did as Raven said. "Good. Now I can put a spell on you to make you sleep for about ten minutes while I stitch up your arm, or I can do a shot to numb that area. It's up to you. I know you have a fear of needles." Dexter thought about it. "Um, I'll go with the spell." Raven smiled. "I thought that you'ed choose that option." Raven stood up and put the spell on Dexter. Raven went to work. Dexter woke up about five minutes after Raven stitched him up. "I figured out how you cut your arm. There was a nail sticking out of the side of the dresser." Dexter sat up, with the help of Raven. "Now you're going to be sore for a little bit. Other than being sore, are you good?" Dexter looked at Raven. "Yeah, I'm good. How did you know how to stitch me up?" Raven sat down next to him. "I once got hurt like how you did, and I didn't know what to do. My mother put a spell on my finger I cut open to heal it. But as I grew older, I didn't really want to use my magic like how mother used to do. So I read books and I watch videos until I was confident I could care for myself without magic. And when I was about thirteen I think, the spell my mother used on my finger whore off. Now that I think about, that was the day I helped one of the servants with our laundry and my mother was not happy about it. But either way, I had sewed it back up. It hurt, a lot. But that's how I know about first aid stuff." Dexter stood up. "Raven how come you never told me about that?" Raven stood up next to Dexter. "I didn't think it was relevant." Dexter walked over to Raven. "Well, I might be upset with you, but you knew how to sew up my cut. That's was pretty cool." Dexter kissed Raven cheek. Dexter went to pick out a shirt since his other one had blood on it. "I would go with a short sleeve shirt. Just to let you cut get some air." Dexter looked at Raven. "My mom would flip out if she saw my arm like this." Raven walked over to their bed and picked up some bandage wrap, and walked back to Dexter. "I'll put this on over it." Raven started to wrap Dexter's arm. After Raven was done, they both went to go pack their bags.
Raven and Dexter made their way down stairs to go home. "I'll see you soon right?" The Good King asked. Raven kissed her father cheek. "Of course, Dad." The Good King made his way over towards Dexter. "Take care of her." The Good King hugged Dexter. "I will sir. Your daughters in good hands. And if for some reason I'm not around when she needs me," Dexter showed the good king his wrapped arm. "I'm sure she can take care of herself." Raven laughed. "Are you ok!?!" Dexter chuckled. "Yeah, I'm good. Thanks for asking." Raven open her bag and grabbed an orb. "Alright, dad. Dexter and I have to go and talk with his mother now." Raven walked over toward Dexter and grabbed his hand. "Bye, Dad." Raven hugged her dad. "Bye baby girl." Raven took Dexter's hand again. Raven dropped the orb like she did before. "One...Two...Three!" Raven and Dexter jumped into the portal to talk to Dexter's mom.
