Rexter three

Chapter 10

Dexter walked into his and Ravens room, only to see Raven had a bag all packed up. Dexter pulled out his phone.

Dexter: Hey, I see that you pack a bag for wherever you're going to stay, do you need me or one of the servants to come and drop it off?

Raven was saying her good byes to Maddie when she got Dexters hext. Raven smiled and then chuckled. "What's so funny?" Maddie asked. Raven hexted Dexter back and looked at Maddie. "It's just Dex. He found my bag I packed and offered to deliver it wherever I'm going to stay." Raven smiled some more. "He's a good man, you know that Rae. If you don't keep him some other woman will." Raven looked at Maddie. "Um, that was deep even for you. Is everything alright Maddie?" Maddie looked down at her shoes. "I guess I want to know what it's like to be loved by someone other than my dad. But I'm going to be tea-rific even if I don't ever have a special someone." Raven walked over to her friend and hugged her. "You'll find someone for you, Maddie, I'm sure of it." Maddie looked up at Raven. "Thanks. Now get going to meet your prince charming." Maddie turned Raven around and gave her a little nudge. Raven turned around to look at Maddie. "I need the bathroom first," Raven said and then she dashed into Maddie's shop too well, I think you know by now.

Dexter got a reply right away after sending his hext.

Raven <3: Hey, I could meet you out front of the library.  If that's ok? 

Dexter: Grate what time should I meet you?

Raven <3: How about in ten minutes?

Dexter: Ok. See you then.

Dexter was happy Raven replied to him. He now knows she'd willing to talk with him.

Raven walked about five minutes until she sat on a bench out side of the library. As Raven sat down, Cupid came out of the library. "Oh, hey Raven. How's it going with Dexter?" Cupid already knew but she wanted to know how Raven felt about the whole thing. "Um, well it's going. Dexter and I are spending some time apart from each other." Cupid walked over to Raven. "Mind if I sit?" Raven shook her head. Cupid sat on the bench next to Raven. "Was it your idea to spend time apart?" Raven nodded. "Do you still feel like you made the right choice? Because you're being really silent." Raven looked at Cupid. "I don't know. I've been away from him only for about two hours and I miss him. But I'm not in the right head space to go back to the Charming castle, but like I said, I really miss Dex. I don't know what to do." Cupid thought for a second. "Well, why don't you tell him how you feel? I ran into Dexter about ten minutes ago in the library, and he misses you, but he also understands. I think it would be good for you to talk with him about how you feel? I told him to do the same thing." Raven smiled. "Really?" Cupid put her hand on Raven's shoulder. "Really." Raven stood up and so did Cupid. Raven hugged her. "Thanks, I'll definitely do that." Raven let go of Cupid. "Anytime." Cupid smiled and flew away. Raven sat back down and started to think when about three minutes later Dexter was standing next to her.

Dexter was walking to meet Raven with her bag in his hand when as he turned down the street the village library was on, he saw Raven and Cupid talking. Dexter quickly turned back and waited for about six minutes until he checked on Raven again. Raven was sitting alone. Dexter made his way up to her. Dexter coughed to let her know he was there. Raven looked up to see Dexter looking down at her. "Dex!" Raven leaped up and hugged him. Dexter dropped Raven's bag and hugged Raven back. It felt good to hug her. "Is every thing alright?" Raven and Dexter sat down. "I don't know." Raven was looking at her hands. "You don't know?" Dexter looked at Raven who was fidgeting with her hands. "Um, how am I suppose to answer that." Raven looked up from her hands to see Dexter with his confused face on. "We've been away from each other for about two hours, and I really miss you. But I can't go back to the castle with you, but I want to be with you. I shouldn't have said I wanted time apart! I-I was confused and I was really hurt. I mean, my mom said she didn't want to be part of her grandchildren's lives, you got hurt, and your mom...Well..." Dexter took Raven's hands. "She's crazy." Reaven looked Dexter in the eyes. "Yes! All that happened to me in one day. I ran away when I really should have just talked to you about how I feel. I'm sorry. Can you forgive me?" Dexter put his hand on Raven's face. "We all make mistakes, my queen..." Dexter leaned in and so did Raven, and they shared a passionate kiss.

Dexter smiled at Raven who smiled back. "Well, what now?" Raven asked. "We move into the house I bought." Raven looked at him. "How? your mother will never let us out of her sight long enough to even pack a box." Dexter stood up. "I'll ask Darling to help, along with my dad. My dad could take my mom out for about an hour tops. Then we'll have time." Raven stood up too. "Dex, it can take hours to pack all of our belonging. We'll need more than an hour." Dexter smiled. "We'll pack up some of our belongings, and I'll get Darling to do her hair flipping power, and we'll use one of your mirror portals and drop some of our boxes into the portal. And when my mom is sleeping at night, we'll drop the last of our belongings we packed through the portal and then we'll jump in, and we'll never need to see my mom again." Raven smiled. "I think that would work, but what about Darling, Daring, and your dad. They never did anything to us and they want to be part of our children's lives. And is it close to the doctor's office and a hospital?" Dexter picked up Raven's bag and took Raven's hand and started to walk. "I thought about that. You know the beach that's about twenty minutes away?" Raven nodded. "That's the beach that the house is on, and it's closer to the Doctors office and the hospital than the Charming castle, and we'll meet with Darling, Daring, and my dad in the village sometimes." Raven put her head on Dexter's shoulder. "You were always so smart Dexter." Dexter stopped and looked at Raven. Raven kissed his cheek. While Dexter kissed her on her lips. Raven took out her mirror phone and hexted Cerise and Maddie to tell them she doesn't need to stay the night anymore. Raven and Dexter were on their way to talk with Darling.
