It's the last class, Social Studies. Basically all we've done is learn about the teacher and organize our binders. Pretty fun compared to learning. Especially because my ADHD would be screaming if we had to stay still and have a personality quiz or something.

It turns out I have 2 of my main classes with Mark. Math and E.L.A. which I'm really happy about. My best and worst class. Mark is really good at ELA so I'll help him in Math and he'll help me in ELA.

The bell rang and I smiled. A genuine smile. I grabbed my stuff and exited the room, mumbling a thank you, and going to my locker. I see Mark already there and I wave. He waves back.

"Hey beanie baby. How was your day?" He asks, grinning ear to ear.

I laugh. "Beanie baby?"

"What? It suits you." He replies, cheeks turning pink.

"Okaaay. And today was pretty great. Especially with you here." I punched his shoulder lightly, trying to stop my flirtiness.

"Well I'm glad." He said, putting a few things in his locker. I decided I would as well as long as we weren't talking. Getting back into reality I realized that everyone had left. Had we been talking for that long?

"Well I guess I'm going to go. See you later." I started walking to the double doors.

"Wait!" Mark shouted.

I turned to see him running towards me.

"Yeah?" I asked.

He put his hand on his neck and awkwardly looked up at me. "Do you uh want to hang out tomorrow?"

I smiled so wide. "I'd love to."

He smiled back, giving me his phone to put my address in his notes. I'll try to find a time where Annie is gone from the house tomorrow.

"We can set up a time later," he said. I nodded. "See you then."

We both waved goodbye and walked our separate ways home, smiling like weirdos. I noticed the clouds had parted and the sun was shining bright. I guess mother natures eavesdrops xD.

The sky suddenly darkens a bit when I see my house. I guess they got a rental car now. I cautiously walked in, letting out a sigh of relief to see no Annie. I close the door and walk up to my room.

I change out of my binder to wash it for tomorrow, putting it in a trash bag Annie put in every bedroom. Looking around, I decide  to start unpacking everything. It's not like I have much homework for the first damn day. I can do the math sheet later.

I pick up my speaker and connect it to my phone, blasting MCR'S most popular songs as I put my things into the bathroom and clothes into the closet. I drown out everything, every sound, every movement, every change in the environment around me goes unacknowledged and I love it.

I dance. I smile. I twirl around, folding pants and hanging shirts. I lip sync the lyrics, not giving a fuck about what the world thinks of me. My favorite song by them comes on and I can't stop myself. I feel alive. Truly fucking alive. I don't need pain to show me that anymore. Because for once I feel happy. I scream every word like I'm at a concert.
