*Picks up from where the last chapter ended*
"You will not touch my sister, Reyes!" Jax growled between gritted teeth.
"So is that a yes to going to the Island?" Reyes smirked, keeping his calm composure. Jax was about to say something but closed his mouth once he realized defeat.
"Fine. I'll go," he says.
"Great. Get your bags packed. You're going tomorrow," The boss informed.
"Whatever," Jax muttered as he walked out of the office.
     Jax walked to his car and drove back to the hospital. Once he arrived at the building, he just angrily walked to his sister's room without bothering to check in with the front desk first. As he reached the outside of his sister's room, he took a deep breath to calm himself down.
"Jem," he said, plastering a smile on his face as he walked in.
"Jaxy! You're back!" She smiled back.
"Of course I'm back! I would never leave you, Jemmy," He said, sitting down on his usual chair.
"Alright, what do you want?" Jem asked.
"What? How could you accuse me of such thing! Never have I ever asked you for anything before that you-" She gave him the look. "Alright. Do you think you'll be alright being on your own for a little while? I have to go on a business trip and mom and dad are....away."
"Yeah, I'll be fine, Jaxy. I've got the nurses here to keep me company. Go live your life and don't let me drag you down," Jem said, letting a weak smile appear on her face. "I love you Jaxy."
"I love you too, Jemmy," he answered softly, kissing her on the forehead. He then stood back up and walked out of the room.
"She'll be fine," he muttered to himself. "She's always gonna be fine."
-At the Isle-
"Is this really necessary?" Vivian asked with an amused tone.
"Of course!" Sirena exclaimed, pulling the hood of her cloak up.
"And why is that?" Aj asked, matching Jezamine's tone.
"Because," Sirena said, turning to him. "You have a cloak, Jezamine has a cloak, even Raven has a cloak! It's only fair that Maddie and I get one too."
"It looks like we're from a cult and somehow managed to get the baby to join," Maddie deadpanned.
"Yes, but we look like a fabulous cult that somehow managed to get a baby to join," Sirena corrected.
"Alright, well off we go," Jezamine says. The four (Raven isn't walking, she's being carried) started walking towards the village.
"Good day, Sirena!" A baker exclaimed.
"Good afternoon, sir!" Sirena chirped back as they passed. The two girls seemed to be quite well known on the town because as they walked, people greeted them.
"Afternoon, girls!"
"Fancy seeing you around here, girls!"
"Oh look at how much you two have grown!"
"Who're your friends, girls?"
"Oh when could you two visit the shop again? Lizzie has been dying to see you again!"
"Say hi to the Zheng's and Lam's for me!"
"Wow, you sure do know a lot of people," Aj noted.
"Well when you live here long enough you learn that it's a fairly social community." Maddie shrugged.
"OOH! A BAKERY!" Sirena all of a sudden squealed.
"GACK! Sirena you are gonna give everyone a heart attack!" Jez exclaimed. Sirena just smiled innocently and looked longingly at the baked goods. Aj sighed and headed towards the bakery, leaving the girls to watch after him. Well....Sirena and Maddie were talking to a fairly nice and elderly farmer while Jez stared at Aj though the dirty glass window. Maddie and Sirena said their goodbyes to the farmer and turned back to Jez. Maddie saw her staring and turned to look at where she was gazing. As she saw it was Aj who had taken up the girl's attention, she smirked to herself.
Aj then walked out of the bakery with a bag for Sirena-who squealed at the sight of it.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" The excited girl said before digging into the puffed pastry. Maddie cleared her throat, having Jez and Aj turn their attention to her.
"So I know this amazing shop for babies so why don't Sirena and I buy Raven some stuff while you two have fun," Maddie asked.
"Are you sure? It might be a bit of a hassle to take care of Raven," Jez informed.
"I'm sure. Don't worry we got her," Maddie said, opening her arms for Raven.
"Thank you so much!" Jez said as she put the baby in Maddie's arms. "So meet back here-say 5:00?"
"How about 7:00? You two deserve a little fun. Who cares about that stupid schedule of yours?" Maddie asked.
"Alright," Jez warily answered.
"Have fun you two," Maddie sang as she waved.
"Bye," Aj said. He grabbed her hand and the two got lost in the crowd.
"Finished!" Sirena declared, dusting off her fingers. "Hey where'd they go?"
"You are so oblivious," Maddie said, rolling her eyes. "We're taking care of Raven while the two lovebirds go exploring."
"Ah, so you set them up," Sirena smirked.
"Just call me Cupid," Maddie answered with a smile.

So so sorry for the late post! School just started and everything is hectic right now. I will try my very very hardest to post more often but I am sorry to say I can not promise a new chapter every week. I thought that during the school year, I'd be more able to post every week like I did last year but for some reason that's changed. So I will try my best to post.
Next chapter, Vivian and Aj will be having some alone time!
