Dear Anonymous,

   I miss you. A lot.

I miss your book recommendations and rants.

I miss how you always had tissues in your backpack because your allergies were so bad.

I miss having all my classes with you.

I miss hearing you play beautifully in band.

I miss your determined mindset in English while everyone else was slacking off.

I miss our conversations we had when we would fold laundry to get out of running during PE.

I miss laughing with you in science while we looked up smooth tumblr posts with another one of our close friends.

I miss your helpful guidance in math when I needed the extra help, which was all the time.

I miss all of our inside jokes with our close friend during history.

I miss telling you about all my boy drama.

Here's what it's like now.

Now band is stressful and your song is no longer heard.

Now there's no look of determination in anyone's eyes in English.

Now I have to actually exercise during PE.

Now I'm in a science class with a wonderful teacher, that actually cares about the class. Which is great, but no more tumblr.

Now I have to face math alone. I'm doing okay so far, but there are only 12 other kids in that class. I can't hide anymore.

I no longer have inside jokes in history. Our close friend is in a different class and now I'm all alone.

I miss you more than ever right now, and I hope you know that I'll never forget you.

Wish you were here.

Sincerely,
Me
