Dear Anonymous,
I'm jealous of you. You effortlessly steal my friends away, not permanently, just when I could really use their company. You don't ever seem to care about me, just the people I love.
My friends always seem to have a better time when they hang out with you. I feel subpar, like I miss the mark when it comes to being interesting.
Just when I think someone is a devoted friend who would choose me over anyone else, you waltz in and prove me wrong. I'm always second in their eyes.
You know what you're doing, so don't act so naïve. You purposefully make a scene, grab my friends' attention, and leave me behind in the dust.
My friends seem to like you an awful lot, but they forget that I used to be your friend. You shut me out, but I could live with that.
I cannot however let you steal the people in my life that keep me sane.
You're taking the people that I can't live without, and that's unacceptable.
Maybe you never learned this in kindergarten, but stay away from things that aren't yours. Maybe, if you're nice I'll share.
