I lower my eyes and let out a small growl, "It's nice to see you too."
She lets out a small huff and walks around the room, studying me closely, "So, why are you here?"
I bite my lip but regain courage and look at her straight in the eye, "I'm here to ask you something. Since you are, you know, the biggest base out here so far, I was wondering if you somehow have any, poison?"
Alyson rose an eyebrow, "Poison? Why would you want that?"
"Is that why you came here? For poison?" Star asks angrily, her patience breaking slowly.
"Well, yes. . ." I admit hesitantly, paying no attention to Star.
Alyson looks at me quietly, and after a few moments of silence, her mouth curls into a smirk, "Ah, I see what you want to do. Of course, follow me."
Star looks at Alyson in a weird way, "But, Alyson-"
"Star." Alyson growls, looking at Star angrily. "Can you please not interrupt? If poison is what the girl wants, then poison is what she'll get. Anyway, only I know what she'll do with it."
Paying no more attention to Star's remarks, I follow Alyson down the hall, and I see her walking down some stairs, which I can only conclude, led to the basement.
I slowly walk down the stairs, noticing that Star was behind me, following us as well.
I didn't trust her at all, now that I knew her little secret.
But something didn't feel right.
Did she really betray us?
Or is she planning something out?
Puzzled, I just continued down the hall.
Alyson then opens the door to a room full of different drinks and bottles in her possession, making me uneasy. "Here we go, poison. Do something funny with it and I'll make sure you're found dead."
Alyson frowns, gripping onto a small bottle and she hands it to me. "Oh, I'll make sure of it, so be careful on what you do."
"Right." I mutter as I look at it.
It was an invisible liquid like any other, which surprised me how she could tell the difference between the countless, other items she has in here.
I then put it in my pocket and cross my arms awkwardly.
Alyson bit her lip and placed her hands on her hips, "Get a move on, that's what you came her for, right?"
I stare at the floorboards as I thought for a short while.
This was my chance.
I could just kill whoever I cared about, I didn't care if she didn't count, she was the only person I trusted, right?
Smirking silently to myself, I look at her, my fingers twitching uneasily.
I look at Star, and I place my hands in my pockets, she had to be a traitor, she just had to be.
I bite my lip innocently and look at Alyson, "Right. . . You're right! I should get going now."
She smiles, "Right, and if you tell anybody about where I am, I'm tracking you down, and killing all of your little fake friends."
I smirk, and look at Star, as she looks back at me emotionlessly, "That's the problem Alyson, they aren't my friends. But you want to know who my friend is right now?"
She crosses her arms cluelessly as she arches an eyebrow, "And, why would I care?"
Then, I took action.
Taking a knife from out of my pocket, I stabbed it directly at her chest, making her let out a soft choke, her eyes widening in surprise.
I smile and say,
"Because you are my friend right now, silly."
