The Fire

The fire burns deep within my soul
It will never go out as long as I remain in control.

Life is tough
And dealing with it is a pain
But at least I got close friends that help me stay sane.

I try not to be alone
But it is hard when you're already in a bottomless hole.

Please don't let me fool you
I'm not ok
My words are lies
Please help me stop going insane!

The fire goes dull as the days go by
But oh well I'm already losing my mind.

So please don't cry if I walk away
The pain is just too much to contain.
Because soon the fire will die
And I will lose my way...

I'll just be a cold soul walking around ashamed.
