We speak words
That can either make
Or break a person.
In this world we live in
We have to be careful with our words.
Say too much
You ruin something
Don't say enough
You let someone walk away still broken
But also remember
Actions speak louder than words can express
People need to feel loved,
Cared about,
Forgiven.
Not just worried over.
Do something to help someone else
Don't just stand there quiet,
Letting them feel left alone
People should feel loved even if,
NO, especially if
They've been going through hard,
Heartbreaking times.
Anybody can say they are fine,
But that doesn't mean it's true.
Be someone's shoulder to cry on.
Not just a silent listener
who let them walk away still hurting.
