You were waiting for the train to arrive one day after school. You stood there quietly until your crush walked towards you and greeted you with a small pat on the head.
"(Name)cchi!" Kise Ryouta smiled as you pouted, pretending to be annoyed. "How's life?"
"Normal as usual..." you sighed. You were having family problems and Kise was the first person you talked to about it. "You?"
"You want me to talk to your dad?" Kise said in a serious voice. You didn't think he'd care so much about you. You smiled and said no, you'll be fine.
"So, how's life?" He asked again, even though you answered already. "Ah wait. Shoot. I already said that! Ah... um... I- How's life? Whoops sorry. Shoot."
"It's fine!! Hahaha are you okay?" You giggled at his clumsiness with words.
"I'm high." He snickered. "Highly in love with you!" Oh you wished he meant it. But you two always joked and told each other pick-up lines. Though, you didn't mean your pick-up lines as jokes. You meant them romantically.
The train arrived. Both you and your blond crush stepped in and swiped your card on a public transport card reader. The two of you spent the ride chatting about random things such as your favourite shops, restaurants and your seasonal Kaijou uniform.
Kise pressed the stop button and stood up. He leaned side to side childishly and waited for the train doors to open. He looked at you, you were looking back at him, fondly, with lovestruck eyes. He smiled mischievously, leaned down and kissed you on the lips. You were too stunned to do anything. He winked at you and left the train.
That's when you realised. You weren't just crushing on him; you were highly in love with him.
