6 & 7 Just Go With It

I'll be leaving for a week long camping trip :( There's no wifi at my camp obviously but I can still bring my phone to continue writing. Even though I'll be writing all this week, I decided to have updates every week rather than every day from now on. I think you guys can see how stressful writing everyday can be, like 3000 words everyday is what I write, with grammar and spell checking of course. Like try writing like that for a week, I know it might be easy for some people, but there's still the struggle. This is how it's gonna be unless I think I can do 2 or 3 updates a week. I just wanna try it and see how much writing I can get done in a week, and it's perfect since I'll be camping and can relieve some stress. This may not be permanent I just wanna see how this goes, I think it'll go well though. Enjoy xx

I woke up to Candy's arm across my waist, she was cuddling into my neck, with a smile on her face. I carefully lifted her arm and rolled off the bed, quietly and quickly. I looked at my phone for the time, 9:22 am. I got up and walked slowly and silently to my bathroom and did my business. I returned to get my phone and left my room, reading through the messages I didn't read yesterday and the ones I got last night. There were 8 messages in total. 3 from Jespar, 1 from Eric and 1 from Kirsten, 1 from. Kade and 2 from Quinta. I smiled and opened Jespar's first.

Jespar: hey
Jespar: text me back
Jespar: i got something to tell and it's important
(Y/n): hey jespar, what is it?

I sent that and viewed messages I got Kirsten and Kade, they said they missed me, so I said I missed them too with a heart. I opened Quinta's messages and it was memes, they were actually funny and I giggled. I opened Eric's.

Eric: Hey
Eric: Me and Jespar want to come down and meet this Cory of yours.
(Y/n): me and cory are broken up, we dont live together anymore either.
(Y/n): id love for you two to come down for a bit too, but i have candy over
(Y/n): shes staying a week and i dont think having three people stay at a house that isnt mine is a good idea ☹️

I frowned. I'd rather have Eric and Jespar here than Candy, but it's alright. Hopefully she'll get a new job soon, I really miss those guys. I smiled at the fact they were gonna visit though, I was happy I got to talk to them too. I smiled and skipped to the elevator, so I could go and make breakfast for everyone. I already planned out breakfast yesterday when I did the dishes. I was planning on cinnamon french toast since that's really all I had ingredients for, I really need to go shopping. I could probably ask Murdoc or Russel but Murdoc would probably scream in my face and Russel might not give me the money since i've only been here for two days. He might think i'm looking for money for my own gain. I shrugged and began making breakfast, it reminded me of cooking with Noodle yesterday. I felt my phone buzz in the middle of cooking so I pulled it out of my sweater pocket and opened it up. It was Eric.

Eric: Where are you staying if your not with Cory? Isn't Candy that lesbian chick who has a thing for you?
(Y/n): im staying with my friends at their place until i can get enough money to move out
(Y/n): and yes thats the candy im talking about

I groaned, I keep skipping work, i'll call in late and say im sick. I dialed the number of the restaurant im working at and held my phone to my ear.

"Hello?"

"Hey it's (Y/n) I didn't call in yesterday or this morning, just wanted to let you know I was sick"

"Okay, thank you, well find someone to cover for you. Buh-bye"

That was fast and easy. I shrugged and flipped the bread over. I had about a stack of 15 french toasts in 10 minutes. I heard someone shuffling their feet into the kitchen. When I turned and looked it was Murdoc. He was groaning and holding his head, so I got some painkillers from the medicine cabinet and a glass of water for him. He swallowed the pills without the water, and sat there waiting for them to kick in.
